@Boomernichols   he has done really well, as of today he has learned to use the oven, sort clothes and run the washer/dryer!

@Mom2Dogs  he has everything under control. Nothing to worry about lol.

@haddon9 sprained her left foot the other day. She's upstairs and her husband is in charge. Her kitchen is still standing.

I'm very sorry about your accident which sounds very painful.

I wish you as quick a recovery as possible. Sounds like your husband is a good, kind man.

@Mom2Dogs  I can relate to finding the only ice patch and boom down you go.  Sounds like between your surgeon and your nurse husband you are well cared for. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

@tends2dogs   Fell hard on my right shoulder, and I am right handed.  I am so glad I baked early December and got most things baked.   I wanted to make Mexican Wedding cake cookies...but as for now, I am done baking.

Post surgery pain has set in...I was given a nerve block on Friday, it wore off about 4;00 this afternoon, the prescribed oxycodone does not work very well.

I hope you can stay ahead of the pain.  Don't miss any doses.  If not, it is hard to get it back under control.  I hope you have a good and restful day.

@Mom2Dogs  I am so sorry that you broke your shoulder-that must've been so painful and that was such a terrible fall! You are a very strong and resilient lady and I'm glad that your lovely husband will help you with washing your hair and doing things around the house.  Use this time to relax and recover and I hope that your surgery went well!

ask friends, neighbors if anyone has a shower bench they can loan you. Probably a hand held shower wand too Google durable medical equipment to see if there are any organizations in your area where you can rent or purchase. I'm sorry about your painful accident. Let your surgeons office know if you aren't getting enough pain relief
