Re: Does your name suit you?

My given name suits me.  It's very ordinary.  It's common and doesn't stand out in any way.  I'm quite self-conscious and I don't like to stand out either, so I think it's an appropriate name for me.

If I could rename myself, I would choose something more traditionally feminine like Mary or Emily or Elisabeth... or maybe Kitty, because I love kitties so much.

Yes...would not change it.  It is symbolic of my nature.

Re: Does your name suit you?

My first name is a family name; there's always one in every generation.  Although, I might be the last.  It's old fashioned, traditional, boring.  I like traditional names but I wish I had a name that was more interesting.

My first name is very ordinary, nothing special. I much prefer my middle name and years ago for fun a girl friend would call me a shortened version of it. I loved that!

My 1st and middle name is my forum ID name. It must say a lot if I use it here Smiley Very Happy

My adopted father named me...Susan because it was his favorite girls name and Louise because he loved the song 'Every little breeze seems to whisper Louise'.

According to my adoption papers, my biological mother named me Cindy......not even Cynthia...blah.

Yes, it does, it’s meaning is very important to me.

My middle name has been in our family for a long time, it was my P. Garadmother’s middle name also.

My mom's name was Louise and she would sing that song all the time 💕

Re: Does your name suit you?

I never really gave it much thought.  I wouldn't change it. It's not a common name, but it's not out there either.  Many can't pronounce or spell it.  Not sure why.  It has no family significance.
