I was a SAHM....I was very busy with 3 boys and I couldn't afford to buy anything from TV shopping channels or local stores for myself then LOL....not a soap opera fan either....I remember doing so many things but sitting watching TV all day long wasn't one of them.

I admit I haven't missed Shawn doing the clothing shows....compared to the tiny host Amy I think her name is....well she does a wonderful job of showing colors and going thur all the sizing on herself and the models which truly helps if you want to actually purchase something.  Marybeth is another one....she takes control (even with SG!) and gets the important info out to the customer like sizing and measurements of bags color difference with up close comparisions.  For me this is important....the other hosts talk about non sense like this item sold out last time it was on.....or it's so IN and blah blah...

I am sure she'll be back working for Q and making really good money like that I don't blame her....I didn't have the skills to make that kind of income back then and what I did earn wouldn't have covered the cost of one child's care much less 3.  I wanted to be home with them but I also wanted to work some...with my spouses job (LOTS of travel) it was simply impossible...one parent needed to be at home for them.

why surprised? many women take their maternity leave and then get back to work after the time they are allowed. no reason to give up her career just because she now has a baby.

Shawn can afford a nanny.  She has a great job and makes a super income.  Money does not grow on trees and you make no money sitting on your bottom at home.

sorry to say she is back tonight,  I do not like watching her, just a bad vibe.

I was hoping she would choose to be a stay at home mom...

I dont like to be mean but I just do not like her and I do like watching qvc to relax, she is not relaxing and I have a feeling she will be worse than ever now... oh well, just needed to vent..

Shawn is an amazing person. Does her job very well. Has a beautiful family.  I don't understand why in this Community (Blogs & Forums) there is so much ugliness!!!!! There are many many women who work a full time job and maintain a beautiful home and family. Some women choose to be a career woman and a mom. This can be done in today's world, and why not!! Financially a lot of women have to work now-a-days!!!! "You go Shawn," setting an example of what a modern woman is capable now-a-days!!! Congratulations you derseve every bit of happiness in your life. You make me PROUD to be a woman in today's world. WELCOME BACK! ❤️
