Re: Doctor appointment rescheduled

@qualitygal

Yes, you will still be booked for that.  There are some things that cannot be rescheduled or done virtually.  Like mammograms, CT scans, MRI's etc.

My doctor is still seeing patients in person. He wears a mask plus a shield. There was nobody in the waiting room when I showed up. They must be social distancing appts?

I'm suppose to have an ultrasound plus hida scan but I think I will wait until next year if I can.

Most of my doctors still see patients in person and we call a number when we arrive and stay in car till we receive a text or call when it is time to come up.  Most of my docs are in medical buildings on the grounds of the hospital.  They check your temp at the lobby elevators and I was temp checked again in the hall outside the office.  I had a Dexa Scan in June and the tech only touched me at the knees/ankles so she could place/adjust the wedges.

Re: Doctor appointment rescheduled

@furbabylover Hi!  Just saw your post now, sorry it took so long.  I live in Tampa, and my doctor is in AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel.  That's the policy there at that facility.  Where in FL are you?

@BarbiHollywood  I'm in Pensacola. You would never know there is a pandemic here. Everything is open and full of people. About 95% of people wear masks, but there really is no social distancing. Our mayor declared state of emergency a few days ago, but nothing changed. We are averaging about 40 new cases a day in hospital beds.
