Used to get Good Housekeeping, People, Country Living, Readers Digest, Self, Real Simple, Oxygen, Womens Day, Family Circle. Not all at the same time
I have gotten magazines from the Library too. They dont have as many as they used to but I think I will go back to doing that to save money plus clutter!
Have always donated magazines I finish with or give to family members or friends.
Tried to get Country Living last year again. Subscribed online and asked for the Bill Me option. They never did send a bill. But they did send tons of Over Due emails!!!
Kept trying to get them to understand that if they sent a bill it would get paid!! Never did get the magazine from them lol.
The magazines now are sooo cheap it is hard to turn down a subscription

We have also had problems with mag subs. Not billing and then sending overdues. Also receiving them from the last month this month. Just too many problems to subscribe.

Newbie Here.
Wondering if anyone still gets magazines by subscription?
I only get the O magazine but dont think I will renew.
The magazines have their own websites now so I can just
look there.
The O mag features things that are costly and out of my price range!
The magazine was dirt cheap though which is why I get it.
$5 for a year special.
Welcome Newbie. I only subscribe to People magazine at this time. I tried a few others that I enjoyed years ago but they are not the same. There are too many advertisements in them today - mostly for medicine. It’s no wonder they are so cheap now, they get their money from the number of subscribers.

I get several - a few cooking magazines (goodness knows why, as I hardly cook anymore), Rolling Stone, RD, and one favorite is Entertainment Weekly. That one helps me not to miss new shows and it's not raggy, like some of the Nat'l Enquirer type stuff.

I recently subscribed to HGTV magazine; love to watch that channel, especially Property Brothers, Lottery Winners and Fixer Upper shows. We also get Reader's Digest and DH gets Popular Mechanics.
We can also borrow magazines from the library (but not current month) for two weeks and do that on occasion. They have a large selection.

For many years I got Good Housekeeping. Have canceled. I am older and it is not for me. I get Guideposts and I like it. Short stories that I like.

I didn't for a long time but reading a magazine on my tablet or laptop isn't the same as a physical magazine. So, subscribed to People and Vogue and I'm so happy that I did.

No, not anymore but I do purchase lots of magazines in stores.

For years I got Reminiscense and Taste of Home but I guess I let them lapse. I'll have to resubscribe to them as I enjoy them tremendously.

No, I don’t get subscriptions anymore. It’s been about 15 years since I got one, I think. And I’m not “allowed” to buy magazines at the store either. I think I’ll read them but never do so I need that rule. Years ago, I would read magazines cover to cover! Loved them. The Internet changed the way I get my info. - I don’t look at magazines online either.
