I believe in some of them.
Years ago. I went with a friend to see her mom. It was my first time going to her mom's house and meeting her. While we were there, a friend of her mother's came to see her. She sat down next to me at the dining room table. She only spoke Spanish. I speak very little Spanish. After awhile, she turned to me, took my hand, said she could feel my energy and asked if I would like for her to do a reading. I looked at my friend to interpret. She told me the woman was a medium. I asked how much she charged and she said she didn't charge anything. I said okay. The woman told me things that had happened in my past and that were still troubling me on the inside and troubling my spirit to this very day. My friend had no idea about them. I keep them to myself and have learned to deal with it. My friend was interpreting to English, and looking at me like what? These things had happened when I was 18. I didn't meet my friend until I was in my 30's and had no reason to ever tell her or anyone my experience. She also told me things that were true in my present. It scared me and I was also embarrassed that my friend was hearing this. I took my hand away, saying that's enough. She wanted to read my cards but I said no.
I had another experience that makes me believe in things we don't understand.
My paternal grandmother was in a nursing home for 4 years before she passed. My dad went there everyday to see her. I only used to go every other week as my sons were little and my dad didn't think they should go there. The night she died. I woke up from a sound sleep, in the middle of the night, with the sensation that someone was in my room, standing over me watching me. As no one was there, I went back to sleep. An hour later, the nursing home called. They asked if I was her granddaughter and told me that she had expired. I asked them when and they said an hour ago. I asked them why they were calling me instead of my dad. They said I was the only contact number they had(What???)Mind you, they had never spoken to me before but had spoken to my dad on numerous occasions. They asked if I wanted to tell my dad or if they should call. I told them to call him and gave them the number. I waited an hour and called my dad and asked if he was okay since mom-mom had passed. He said yes and how did I know. I told him what had happened and he couldn't believe it either. I was close to my grandmother. She was 91 when she died. To this day, I believe she was the one in my room, standing over me. She came to say goodbye.
