I loved the turkey!!!

I remember the Swanson TV dinners well!!!  I didn't have them often but the fried chicken was my favorite hands down!  I don't know If I could eat one now, it has been a long time and my stomach doesn't like some of foods I used to enjoy!!!!!!  Thanks for the memory.

Oh yes, we would have the turkey dinner on TV trays in front of the tv, watching Bonanza 😋!

My Dad liked the Salsbury Steak. I also liked the turkey which laid on some dressing. I recall my Mother saving the aluminum trays and putting  her leftovers in them to freeze and reheat, especially at Thanksgiving. She was a working Mom so we had TV dinners quite often.

whenever my parents were going to a social event, our "treat" was a tv dinner!  and the snack was jiffy pop popcorn....the kind you had to constantly shake on the stove!  thanks for the memory.....

SWANSON AND BANQUET.......

my mom was a great cook, but when she and my dad went out or had an event to go to, this was our TREAT. the babysitter (or my grandfather) would make these for us......meatloaf, fried chicken, salisbury steak, spaghetti, fish sticks, pot roast,  turkey......some even came with a dessert.

fond memories of those times.
