Yes.  Our rain tends to be downpours, so if you walk or run in the rain you'll get drenched to the bone.  Although I will say that it doesn't rain as often as it used to.  I know our rainfall totals are definitely below what used to be average for this area.

I worry more about my shoes getting wet.  A few years ago, there was a sudden prolonged pounding rain and I was in CVS.   I finally gave in and bought a pair of flip flops to wear to get to my vehicle.

No, Im one of those people who covers my head with my jacket or sweater and dashes into the store or building.  I'm not afraid of water.  I'm not made of sugar, I won't melt.  Sometimes a summer shower feels good on a hot day.

Yes, I have couple in there.  When I worked, I always kept a couple there, too.  I have a couple in my house also.  You just never know when you will need one.  I have been known to lose them also.  I used to buy good ones, but now if I need one that has been lost or borrowed and not returned, I just get a cheap one to replace.
