Did you know you can set your iPad to auto-capitalize by going to Settings, General, Keyboard.

I'm on my iPad now and am also using the arrow at each end of the keyboard to switch from lowercase to capitals. Also don't forget the space bar. The iPad has all that.

There is and shouldn't be any embarassment for eating out alone!  I do it all the time and look forward to it.  I enjoy my own company and thoughts.  I always have my kindle with me and often enjoy reading.

I've dined alone many times. There's nothing to be embarrassed about. It's not admirable, or a big deal to me. Just something that's perfectly normal and that I'm accustomed to. 

I enjoy doing things by myself. If I want to eat out, or attend an event and my husband doesn't want to, why should I deny myself? I would miss out on too much.

Sometimes I'll have a heavy lunch at a resturant when I will be getting out of work too late to eat dinner.  Either we had no leftovers or just a salad isn't enough.

I will see one or two others dining alone and don't think a thing of it.

@homedecor1  I am with you. I have absolutely no problem going into a restaurant and eating alone. I know a lot single people who can't do it or refuse to and that's fine. It's not a problem with me. I'm a people watcher so it's kind of fun.

There is nothing embarrassing about eating alone. I got used to eating alone when I used to travel for my job. I would always have something to read with me, this was before smart phones and tablets. 

I also prefer taking trips and shopping alone.

I find it interestng that people still feel like it is so taboo to eat by yourself anywhere, anytime---why???? I do it all the time , no big deal! come on---it's 2022 !!!

When you get a chance, explore the Settings in your tablet.

Or do a Google search. 
It's probably annoying for you not to have the full use of your tablet's keyboard.

I have an Android tablet.  Simply hit the arrow on the left by the z to capitalize.
