When someone is from England, in like IMBD, they'll say something like, so and so is from blah blah blah, Yorkshire, England. Like there's 3 areas to the answer.

Does it mean something like this area, in this county, in this country? That's my guess although not sure and Google didn't really answer my question.

Can anyone really break it down for me, please?

City/County, Country

When I sent mail to my grandmother some 25 years ago, the address was long:  Sidlesham, Chichester, Sussex, England.

The first was her small village.  The second was the nearby town.  Sussex was the county.

Yorkshire is a very large county, and so is divided into three ridings.  Is this what

you mean?
