Re: Did You Ever "Pay It Forward"???

A wonderful thing to do.  Everyone can use a little bit of joy in their day.  Hopefully they passed that on to someone else.

Someday, when scientists discover the center of the Universe....some people will be disappointed it is not them.

Re: Did You Ever "Pay It Forward"???

I have had my latte purchased for me at Starbucks and I have, in turn, paid for the person's latte behind me in the drive thru.  It has absolutely nothing to do with being rich or poor.  I drive a BMW, too, and work my butt off as an accountant and am neither rich or poor.

What the OP did was a random act of kindness and it feels good to do it and have the deed returned.  Period.

I love my family, my fur boys, my Jayhawks and accounting!

Re: Did You Ever "Pay It Forward"???

I do pay it forward.  Some mornings if I stop for breakfast I pay for the order behind me.  Sometimes I purposely go out to eat at lunch on a Friday and pay for the order behind me to give that person a smile for the weekend.

The cashier should never have allowed this.  She abused your gesture!
