For me, it's ordering makeup from shopping channels.  I know it's all hype and smoke and mirrors.  I know I am buying into a sales pitch and I'm going to be disappointed.  I know it.  And yet....every now and then....I do it anyway.

Buying, & getting rid of, bread machines, three times.  It's fun to use for a few weeks, then it becomes a nuisance taking up too much space on the countertop.  So in the cabinet it goes, forgotten, until I need that space for something else.  Then it gets carted off to Goodwill or ARC.  Yes, it took me 3 times.  DUH

I can't even begin to tell you how many things we have two or even three of because DH can't find where he put the 1st one.

I do that all of the time on QVC!  Then I look in the closet and I have the same thing in there.

I can buy something and then even a year or two later I can pick out from anywhere what I bought.  Not because my memory is so good but because what I like, I REALLY like and I'd pick it again!  It isn't a quality I'm proud of because it's embarrassing!

People will look in my closet and say, "Do you know you have two of this and that?"  That's when my nose starts to grow when I say, "Oh!  Yes!  Well they're different sizes"  (and they aren't).

@Mary Bailey Actually my sweet youngest daughter was there a few months ago.  She went to the baseball game.  She lives in Denver but wanted to see a baseball game in Chicago.....just because....

She's been there before (friend lives there).  She said it's a nice city and she loves to visit the Breweries and the wineries.  This weekend she and a friend have been visiting Wineries somewhere in the Colorado area.  That kid gets around....
