daily walks, this so gosh darn scary for me.
@viva923 I hope you walk when others are around, or better yet, with another person. Your city must have went to He!! in a hand basket (as the saying goes).

hello all
where i live is not the best area of town, it was great when we moved here 30 plus years ago but it went to heck over the years and now we have nothing but a lot of riff-raff living in here, NOT everyone is bad, just the few people who make it worse than what it is. that family killing just north of me was in a very nice section of that town, older houses (at least 15 yrs old-no older), it happens no matter where you live, we just have many of knuckle heads here right now, the crazies always come out around the holiday times.
no sun today and a very stiff breeze today that wind is a cutting wind, 62 outside and that wind just goes right thru you, it is very damp outside had rain overnight and no sun that is why it is that damp, cold, feel.
dried in dryer today.
did get chores and morn walk in.
not much else,later guys.

It is very cold here in SW Mi. That wind is bad, gusts of 40 plus. They are talking about white out conditions and possible power outages this afternoon. But then the weather people on tv always make it sound so bad.
Got the Christmas cards sent, sure a lot less through the years. Hope everyone has a good week!

Thank you for the update Betty @yock I am stunned and sorry to read that David's father has died.

@viva923 it don't take many 'bad types' to cause a bunch of grief for everyone else. I've lived through it myself and expect to run into it again before I leave this earth.

I finished decorating (not much around the house) yesterday. Best part was I got the tree up and decorated. Hellie @hellie jo is right, the weather here in Michigan (I'm in the SE part of the state) has been wild all day. Wind started ramping up as the day moved on and a couple of times I looked out of my window and saw blizzard conditions. Can't say it was because of lots of snow, more like what the wind gusts were doing with the little snow that fell. Wowsa - going down to the teens tonight.

@yock wrote:where does the time go? I think I’m almost done with Christmas shopping if everything gets here. Most all was done on line. But with all the crazies out there I figure it was worth the price.
Freddie hasn’t felt well for quite a while. She is having trouble breathing and has no energy. She still drives tho. But she’s always been so active that this very hard for her.
She said Shannon, her granddaughter, and David, her great grandson were with her on thanksgiving. It was just a simple but healthy meal. David’s father was killed on His way home from work recently.
She doesn’t have much to say these days. She got to see her great greats via tv which she enjoyed. But she’s growing tired. She was so active on these bbs for so long. She was posting on cooking thread but hasn’t done that either. I miss her.
@yock I knew Winifred wasn't well as she said so, but I am shocked and sorry to hear that David's Father was killed. From all Winifred said, he was a nice guy, helped her at times. I bet David is taking it very hard, hope it doesn't derail him.

@Bird mama wrote:So I got my Moderna booster on Tuesday, Nov 30th. Yesterday I had bone aches in my shoulders, ribs, neck and hips. Also felt like I was freezing all day long. Today, almost no aches and pains. Now large area around injection site red and starting to itch. I knew that was gonna happen. I've having an immune response on multiple body parts, lol. I did the grocery shopping and was there and back home in 45 minutes. I felt a little spacey, not quite vertigo, can't describe it. That seems to have passed.
The wind really picked up at around noon.
Someone in another thread mentioned that both she and her husband have had dizziness since getting their shots. I can't remember if she said they had the Moderna version or not.
I think more people experienced side effects from the Moderna than the Pfizer because it was stronger. I had the Pfizer and only had mild side effects for a few hours with the second shot, and nothing from the first and booster.
Glad you're feeling better now though!👍
@geezerette Doesn't seem to be much of a difference between the two vaccines.

The vaccine was 95 percent effective in preventing COVID-19 disease among these clinical trial participants "

This sounds awful. You better be careful when you take your walks. You take care of yourself.
