 CareBears, today was so medium warm with a

 Yes, indeed, I do worry and quite concerned what you have been through.

    I told this story last week of a work colleague having a resection of 12 inches/ intestines; the surgeon cut too close slicing a 4 cm hole INTO and now has sepsis; now for two weeks - he has been on 3 different powerful antibiotics.

The latest was that [they] almost lost him several times.

My husband has many beliefs in not going for almost any procedures.

I have no history of this fine man's condition.

     Also, I know all too well how serious mrsa is and can be suddenly.

There's a colonoscopsy next month and for him I cringe. Just a preventative, but,,,,,,,,,,,,,, well....

 My prayers are strong and I have not always had any 'one hundred' - % - faith in most, but we do know the specialist.

      I have  Cat Happy

Sashay on some DENTAL cleansing treat ```foods```, and she loves each flavor; that prompt me to ask about your little pets that you have been feeding for a few years, now.

  If so inclined to purchase any, I'll give you the name later when you are hopefully in tip top shape.

   I definitely know you have had several undiagnosed maladies which is so unnecessary. That was EXACTLY what I had hoped for when taking the time to go/ mayo.

 I'll be over to the book review soon, but count me in as very concerned and caring for such a sweetheart that has not had too many breaks for at lest one complete year++.

   I'll be waiting for all good news very soon. We care at our home.  Heart for Keep Hope Alive and i will be with you soon. Pam is such a wonderful friend, also. Many friends here that i am bless with each and every day. Prayers~~

Re: Dear CareBears, ~~~Thinking of you as a fine Mother~~

Dear @CareBears, I am so glad you are starting to feel better.  I do believe what @NAES1 is talking about.  Weather conditions can wreak havoc on many things, that affect some of us in new ways.  I have always had some sinus problems, but this past winter for me - and some others living in CT - was one I would like to forget.

I hope not to step out of line, knowing big rules, but I would like to recommend a book that helps me every day.  A little, simple book.  I also don’t know your beliefs and don’t want to offend.

It is “Jesus Calling.”  By Sarah Young, a devotional for every day of the year.  I believe she and her husband are missionaries, but this book is written for anyone of the Christian faith.  It was a gift to me, and a gift I give to others.  A simple but profound message every day, followed by a short biblical verse.  It has so helped me.

When my DB was in a nasty divorce, this book I gave him somhelped and amazed him.  “The message of the day...I can’t believe how relevant it is,”. I also have two other books in her series, both “Jesus Today” and “Dear Jesus.”  Publshed by Hallmark Gift Books.

My very best wishes for continued healing for you.

Hugs,

Pam

Re: Dear CareBears, ~~~Thinking of you as a fine Mother~~

Dear @NAES1,

BREAKING NEWS...Bulletin

Ha ha!  I hope you are sitting down.  You are one of the first to know -

Kitty Toby has been adopted !!!

I have been looking at kitty adoption sites for a while and just fell in love with his little face.  Now, I think DH and I are either crazy or very brave.  Of course, before any pursuit, due to our age it was important that both our children made a commitment to adopt Toby if we ever cannot take care of him. No shelter ever!

He did not come from a physical shelter,  but rather from a formal group that “fosters” animals in homes until they are matched with a forever home.  Yes, they post pictures of available fur ones on their site, but you meet them in person with the adoptee fur one.

He is is very young, just a year old, in perfect health.  He has been neutered, etc., and I have all his vet paperwork to give to our vet.  He is ivory colored, with touches of ginger on his head and his bushy tail.  Pale green eyes, and short, but kind of soft, fur.  A handsome boy.

He was found on the streets of a neighborhood of poverty.  Well, our late Snowball was found near a dumpster in our NE winter.  He is quite a character, quite active, eats very well, uses his litter box always, and LOVES toys.  So far, we keep him confined to our kitchen, family room, and enclosed porch.  His litter box is in our laundry room and pantry, off the kitchen.

He will let us pet him, and sometimes allow being picked up.

We named him Toby, and it suits him!  He is told he is loved many times daily.  Hasn’t used any of the kitty beds yet, but has gone on the big cat tree in FR a few times.  He is quite active, but hides when napping - under our sofa in FR, if you can imagine.  The saying goes, “From humble beginnings....”

I have more to talk to you about, including your dear love Blackie, and more.  Just wanted my dear buddy @NAES to be among the very first to know.

Your dear friend,

Pam

AWE, Pam  HeartCat Very Happy Man Happy AND YOU, Woman Very Happy

 What pure JOY your wonderful news has put a spring in my step, and yes I had to sit down. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Heart

Little Toby in our hearts today to love and so much love you are receiving right there along with your husband and definitely 'ME'  X O X O. So EXCITED!

       Now Sashay has a surprise, her little nephew with the eleven year span, or let us say her new adopted little son that Sashay should have had but the story stopped before we ever had her, SO~~,

[is] letting you care for Toby since she is too old to jump and run ........... and the toys galore.

She-POOF'd

  Pam, I will think of my dad.

    He had the same name for his new little one, also named Toby. I just told my husband and he said Toby is a very lucky name living out her adventurous life to over 16 just after daddy died.

  I absolutely love his name, and my dad knows the reason for what he thought as his very own creative name. My 'DAD' will watch over him, that's for sure!

   I haven't been this excited in quite some time.

   The joy Toby is bringing  you already glee~ and Oh How Fortunate God had him just for you.

   I believe in the passing of JOY from one friend to another, also the trust we put in Jesus knowing our hearts when sorrow smothers us while He brings a healing, and a need for both ~~ how lucky is our little Toby man?   Thank you Jesus Heart ~

     Now!! Tell me about his 1st toy. I can (haa) help you out until totally settled in; a new cardboard box

   We bought Sashay over 6 new toys and many cat mouse tag-a-longs, 3 flying wand toys for interaction, a fur line cave, the a packed box was delivered.... and she jumped right in and it still remains in the front room from over 2 years ago.

   I wanted to exchange that one for a newer one and make a door, decorating it with flowers and some rubbermaid drawer covering ...and my sweetheart said oh no, that's would upset her with the many scents she has accumulated, along with a smaller box behind with all of her brushes and her spring like battery operated butterfly she swipes at constantly.

  He best toy and we've gone through 2,  is the battery operated (green in color) -with a 10 inch sturdy pole stick having a very durable tighten feather attached. Bought that at Amaz.

   This has study feet so it cannot be tumbled over..I'll find the name and also the one that has the ping pong ball that is physically pushed by Sashay that has 3 tiers. Also, each of these toys are Chewy bought, but for us, no S/H with Amaz. if prime.

   The long plastic tunnel is what I though as something new, but so far she crawls underneath the sofa quilt and sleeps there for hours. (??> LOVES PRIVACY?)).

   I can never change her already there scent or the quilt. Toby will absolutely fall in love with her tree cat house that we call the {{{Sky Box}}} right by the back yard window so she can see every single bird, squirrel and have a look out or any one - anything crossing over or coming into.

   She's in a deep sleep as I write lying in the beams of warm sunshine.

    ~~~~ Pam he sounds totallywith colors and the little look as gorgeous, and as you might know, male kitten are more lovable and want to be held more than the little females.
   Sashay was or is NOT a lap cat. That is her history that may play in to what her history happened when she was a kitten by the former owner, but LOVES brushing with a simple dollar store doggy brush/ the bristles are soft and the other side stimulates (tines) around the ears and under the neck to upper chest, ALSO THE *base of the tail area. So Important~~!
 Never- never,  have I though of you being oldER, you will be around for a very long time by my inner intuitive rational mind.
   I love IT love IT.
     Will stop here before my post block closes off and continue in a few hours. I am cat searching for Toby's (maybe) new toys. BUT! remember the plain 'ol cardbaord box.
LOVE, loveeeeeeeeeeeeee,
@PamfromCT
 omit any mistakes...typing as fast as I can. No professional SECRETARY, here............and we all know it Ha!
Re: Dear CareBears, ~~~Thinking of you as a fine Mother~~
Thank you!!! Dear @NAES1.  Toby loves the feathers on a stick, little balls that roll, etc.  Many toys that Lily lost interest in.  I am going to put out a cardboard box - great idea!  I will find something soft to put inside on the bottom.  I know that Lily probably had something to do with this.  Hugs to you and Sashay.
Re: Dear CareBears, ~~~Thinking of you as a fine Mother~~
Smiley Happy with a celebration Heart for the new and loved  ``Wonder of Life, Toby`` from Ct.
    Pam, I went back and reread that she's one year old and have so much in appreciation he is not ill, not from an over crowded shelter (even though if 15 years younger, I would try my best). That was exactly why KittieCream was taken there on her 10th birthday and completely given up. How could anyone ever be that of a slime behavior doing that and knowing she needs of medical attention.
   KittieCream: She looked exactly like one of the CATS' poster pages that would have anyone wanting her.
 Sadly, she had no papers as does your Toby. SPCA.
   Hopefully, now-  I will staunch more in control and contributions and quick assistance by money donations and frequent drop in visits.
   I know that your grandchildren will be over more often. !
          ~~ Pam, you saved one little 'babe' from a
   -- ( there could have been less devoted people as most appear and many are) as very nervous or unkind life style with many rules, ignorant of pets.
    Those people never thinking about a regular check up with a devoted veterinarian..
 "I said she was so fortunate being right there (timing) when may have waited later on".
    I have good faith of the mention where she was and these very compassionate care givers upon a deserved adoption.
        Smiley Surprised I had that tug at my heart where Toby was found. Indeed, I know that Lily directed you there; There are so many indefinable occurrences we will never know of the mist of miracles that are known among all animals.
      I have a few idea for newer toys and can jot those I found, while catalog shopping after your WoW bulletin. Also, found two for Sashay.
I mentioned the [small] feathers because one of Sashay's newer toys had a cluster of many short & long teaser feathers, then she tried to bite into one while rolling around ( thinks she's a lion ) and it was a small piece of plastic- [so tiny] where the attachment came loose.
  I will give Kong and Smarty Cat as my number 5 star choices.
     Posting those later. Also, if you did not know, there is a cat quality Milk in a small carton :
( not milk at all) that is loaded with the best food group of vitamins/ minerals strongly suggested. See hoe excited I am, as though you have never had a pet before. I am 100% for Taurine.
   There lies my stronger points: No one gets away with cruel or negligent behavior, and only the best.
 ________Absolutely no pain will I continue on to happen.
Back soon! Tomorrow.  Give Toby a hug embrace squeeze and a head bump form me.
Sending Cat Happy Heart love. NAES.
ps: Yes, I do understand the hide-a-way when having a deeper sleep. Something to do with not being on guard as though something has frighten them before, when very young, usually without a momma around.
         I am purchasing Sarah Young's full collection.
      Smiley Happy I have Christian devotionals every day with my husband each morning, while we have coffee. Those are our building blocks.  Thank you so very much, hoping CareBears would consider.
I found a smidgen of a few passages and quotes very EXACT to the the point for different situations of life.
My dear friend @NAES1,
I thought I would let you know I am here.  I guess I am not sleeping too well, and I ended up taking a long nappie this afternoon.
Your post about Ava is so heartbreaking.  I cannot imagine all she is facing.  But she is so fortunate to have such a wonderful friend and advocate like you.  Of course, I am praying for this dear lady.  While I am not the smartest in the medical field (this is why we have you, along with your many good points), I can certainly recognize how serious her problems are.  Her weight loss, in itself, just shocked me.  Along with giving her high protein drinks - I can only assume they are, what else can they do?  I know how tiny she must be.  My Mom was always a small lady,  It she ended up at that weight during her final time.  I heard a comparison of life to running a race - on a local inspirational radio show.  It was stressed to run the race until the end, keeping one’s faith.  We
just never know what is ahead of us, do we?
@PamfromCT  Heart~
      ......... 'yes it is,
     but if she's not engaged for help then I'm okay with that as well Heart as others. {{Doxy. post}}.
She has two sons in very high professions.
They have their work cut out for each, IF they even show.
Someone from the church possibly can or MAY intervene.
Hoping that she may be in a rehab. or hospital.
She was a CEO of large company, so I believe she follow course of her team of physicians.  I will not be a follower to CLING on to someone else living in a world of fantasy.
  I thought you may find this of some interest to some point.
      If she clings to her own non med. interactive thinking, I don't believe she'll be with us much longer.
  Thank you Pam for reading...PEOPLE? ! Never surprised !!!!
Re: Dear CareBears, ~~~Thinking of you as a fine Mother~~
[ Edited ]
Hello Dear @NAES1,  Sorry for the abrupt end of my post, with no sign-off.  My iPad suddenly lost power!
I am kind of dense today and trying to understand what is going on with this lady.  I agree with you that there are times it is impossible to figure out other people.  Try as we will, I have seen situations when people act in ways counter to their interest.
I was so taken with your story about your little Blackie.  He went through so much.  And the love and kindness you showed him was very remarkable.  What a super act from a super pet Mom.
Our little Toby is such a funny little guy.  A bundle of energy, always on the move, until he naps in hidden places.  DH says he like a teenage kid.  His middle name is “Flash.”  He is keeping us laughing quite a bit.  He will, once in a while, let me pick him up for a kissy session.  I am sure he is just learning what it is like to be loved.
Things are always in progress of late in our house.  We had a new driveway put in, and has started more repainting being done.  It’s our porch/sunroom, and it sorely needed some work.  We need to get a new carpet for the room, a new floor lamp, and get rid of some stuff just plopped out there.  You have to put up with upside down here and there to make progress.  So much left to do?  The painter we hired knows we only want to do one room at a time and is good with that.  He did work for DD and SIL, and I am so glad we have him. I can just bet your home is a beautiful and peaceful place.
My very best wishes to Sashay from her admirer Toby.  And very best wishes from me to my dear friend NAES.  Oh, forgot to say we took a very long ride around pretty towns on the CT shore on Sunday.  Good to see something different.
With all appreciation of your friendship,
Pam
