@GoneButNotForgotten Your post is as mean as someone wondering if you'll be able to keep all those 40 lbs off.

Just drop it! David is the only one who has a say on the matter.

I’m sure David is fully aware of what’s going on with his own weight. When trying to watch what you eat knowing part of your job is actually dealing with food it’s not easy. I don’t need to be reminded I’m overweight and need to loose weight, I see it in the mirror every day.

No, he has chosen a career that makes him a public person. His appearance is the business of his employer because he represents them. He is subject to public opinion just as actors are.

It's a lifelong struggle for many.  Lost weight, underweight.  Drugs, no drugs, it's all personal.  Great if anyone never had to watch in their life. Most people have some issue.  Gaining, losing, maintaining. Please let him be........it's hard for many.  Show kindness.  It's free.

Whatever he's doing it's working for him. I think he looks great.

I have not watched QVC for months and have no idea about David's weight, but as a person who must be ever vigilant about her weight, my heart goes out to anyone struggling with theirs.

I managed to lose 40 lbs about 10 years ago, with hard work and by modifying my diet.  I have managed to keep it off until this year.  Have had a LOT of stress in my life and I have put on about 7 lbs.😢😢😢😢.

If anyone were to point it out to me it would  break my heart as I am VERY aware of it.  I am working on it and pray I can get it off as excess weight exacerbates every health concern I have.

Hope David and anyone else struggling with weight will have great success and good health.

I haven't seen much of QVC lately so last night I terned it on to "catch up". I was dismayed to see that some of the 70 lbs. he lost (this year ?? ) are starting to come back.

I hope he re-starts his healthy eating habits again after the holidays (no one should be expected to watch every calorie this time of year.)

Love you, David, and we want you to be around a long time Heart

I don't think you intended to diss David but every heavy or formerly-heavy person probably reads it that way.

The last thing David or anyone with weight issues needs is someone's disappointment or so-called advice.

David knows he's gaining weight. He knows what he weighs. He knows it's a struggle. He kicks himself every day for gaining weight. He doesn't need viewers, friends, or family reminding him. It hurts every heavy person.

I've lost 80 pounds and it's hard to keep it off even though I work at it. I will never forget the comments, looks, rudeness, advice, and outright meaness of people.

@4kitties @CalminHeart   I lost 30 lbs almost 8 years ago.  Probably still need to lose another 30.  It is hard.  It takes work.  I just try each day and I'm happy to say that my family, and my SO roots for me, but thankfully, they don't comment when I put 3-4 lbs back on.  I eat what I want on the holiday days, (not gorge, but allow myself a few favorites) but I try to get back on course immediately.  I just wish I had it in me to get 30 more off.  Here's cheers to us!  🎉🎊

I'm sure it took a lot of effort for David to lose weight and he is aware that he is gaining some of it back.   Pointing it out is neither kind or helpful which is your intention.  Issues of weight loss and gain are complicated and if eat less move more worked we would not have an epidemic of obesity.  Nobody wants to lose weight only to gain it back yet this happens to most.
