I have not watched QVC for months and have no idea about David's weight, but as a person who must be ever vigilant about her weight, my heart goes out to anyone struggling with theirs.

I managed to lose 40 lbs about 10 years ago, with hard work and by modifying my diet.  I have managed to keep it off until this year.  Have had a LOT of stress in my life and I have put on about 7 lbs.😢😢😢😢.

If anyone were to point it out to me it would  break my heart as I am VERY aware of it.  I am working on it and pray I can get it off as excess weight exacerbates every health concern I have.

Hope David and anyone else struggling with weight will have great success and good health.

Stress is the key word believe me 🤔

Just drop it! David is the only one who has a say on the matter.

No, he has chosen a career that makes him a public person. His appearance is the business of his employer because he represents them. He is subject to public opinion just as actors are.

If David's employer is concerned with his appearance they will let him know. Since he's been around what, 30 years (?), I think it's safe to say they're pretty pleased with him.

When it comes to public opinion the op is also subject to scrutiny and commentary as is any post on these forums.

If don't know if he's regained some the weight or not. I don't watch food shows

I do know it's mean to comment on other people's weight.  It's insulting.  It's obviously that you know absolutely nothing about what it takes to lose a significant amount of weight and to keep it off.  It would be lovely and wonderful if it was as simple and easy as you think.  I lost 75 pounds in 2023 and I'm keeping it off.  Actually I lost an additional 5 pounds.  If I had David's job where I was surrounded by unhealthy junk food every day.  If I had to eat it, smell it, pretend it was all scrumptious and heavenly; I would not be able to continue with healthy eating.  It's a constant struggle for me and I'm able to control my environment.

@4kitties @CalminHeart   I lost 30 lbs almost 8 years ago.  Probably still need to lose another 30.  It is hard.  It takes work.  I just try each day and I'm happy to say that my family, and my SO roots for me, but thankfully, they don't comment when I put 3-4 lbs back on.  I eat what I want on the holiday days, (not gorge, but allow myself a few favorites) but I try to get back on course immediately.  I just wish I had it in me to get 30 more off.  Here's cheers to us!  🎉🎊

I know what you mean. I need to lose another 25-30 too. It's hard and people who don't have a weight issue just don't get it. But they could with a little compassion.

@CalminHeart   I'm going to up my exercise and start with very small goals, say 5 lbs at a time and see if I can at least get 10 off by the Christmas holiday.  I've kept the 30 off, but I sometimes I fluctuate between 27-32 pounds off.  I can't look the whole 30 as a goal, it gets overwhelming to me.

I LOVE💝 me some David at ANY size!😊 Having witnessed his weight struggles through the years, I think he will take control of his health and fitness again! Most of us have faced challenges that threaten ours to some degree at some point in our lives. Illness, divorce, pregnancy, depression, age, etc... Withough knowing his current life struggles that have contributed to this, I wish him well.❤️❤️

It is always inappropriate to talk about a person's weight.  It doesn't matter if they gained or lost weight.

It is difficult to believe adults have such bad manners.
