So very sorry to hear this sad news.  Dan's cheerfulness and energy are such an asset to the Q-- have enjoyed him in his presentations.  Condolences to Dan and family.

Thank you for letting us know about Dan's loss.  I'm truly sorry and extend many sympathies to Dan and his family.  Having lost my Mother not so long ago, I know how tragic this is, especially right before Mother's Day.

How much suffering must this man endure ? I know Dan is a God-fearing individual but surely he doesn't deserve this. His dear wife Beth and now his mother. I worry for Dans mental health. I don't have Facebook - has anyone checked in with him ? Is Dan ok ?  How sad to be dealing with this all alone with no support system. Prayers for Dan and give him strength.

@Reever.  Hi Reever, yes it is sad for Dan and his family. I think Dan has two daughters and some grandchildren, so I'm sure he does have a support system. Wasn't his Mom 95 or 96? I'd say that is a pretty long life that not every person gets to have. We all have to go sometime and I'm sure Dan knows and accepts this.

What a touching thought. Is there any way to send this to Dan as he grieves ? Perhaps a QVC moderator can reach Dan ?

When I first started watching QVC I thought Dan was a corny weird guy....I later grew to admire him and think he is probably the kindest, sincerest, most respectful, genuine host they have had.

I admire him and send condolences to a wonderful man and his family.
