Daily Positive Thread for Wednesday

Hello my friends!  Just an ordinary day today, and ordinary days are blessings!  Wishing you all blessed ordinary days too.

There is no place where God is not.  Lord, I am prepared for today
because Your constant presence and unconditional love lets me move
forward with confidence.

"He called a child, whom he put among them, and said, "Truly I tell
you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter
the kingdom of heaven.  Whoever becomes humble like this child is the
greatest in the kingdom of heaven.  Whoever welcomes one such child in
my name welcomes me."  ~Matthew 18:2-5

I can come to God in faith and God will give me a new way of life.
This new way of life can alter my whole existence, the words I speak,
the influence I have.  They can spring from the life within me.  I can
see how important is the work of a person who has this new way of
life. The words and the example of such a person can have a wide
influence for good in the world.

I pray that I may learn the principles of the good life.  I pray that
I may meditate upon them and work at them, because they are eternal

EASTER PRAYER

Risen and glorified Lord Jesus, today we keep the memory of what the Father has done by raising you to new life after your death.

May this truth be for us an unfailing source of hope that where you have gone, we also may go.

May we see in your resurrection that God´s promise to humanity will be fulfilled, so that when you come again in glory we may be with you and the Father in the Holy Spirit for ever. Amen.

Spring is like a Resurrection.
When nature rises to perfection.
And suddenly the frozen earth,
Presents us with a glorious birth.

Each day, new miracles to see.
The seasons hold such mystery!
I do not question why or how.
But rather at God's feet, I'll bow.

I'll thank him for a second chance.
To stop and take another glance.
But this time, from a different view.
A slower pace, to see things new.

A fresh perspective...free from the past.
Treat each day, like it's your last.
The last day you could see a flower.
Or visit with a friend an hour.

Let God direct your life for you.
And tell you what you have to do.
Through His eyes, you soon will see...
A wealth of time, just standing free.

First take the time to spend with Him.
And then you'll see your life begin...
To not be clouded by tomorrow,
Or so much guilt or pain or sorrow.

Your heart will fill with joy and ease,
If God is who you seek to please.
He'll meet your needs and leave time still.
If we will simply do His Will!

Marian Prayer for the Easter Season
Queen of heaven, rejoice, alleluia,
For he whom you were worthy to bear, alleluia,
Has risen, as he foretold, alleluia;
Pray for us to God, alleluia.

Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia.
For the Lord has indeed risen, alleluia.

God our Father, you give joy to the world by the resurrection of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Through the prayers of his mother, the Virgin Mary, bring us to the happiness of eternal life. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Alleluia, Alleluia!

O sons and daughters, let us sing!
The King of heaven, the glorious King,
O'er death today rose triumphing.

That Easter morn, at break of day,
The faithful women went their way,
To seek the tomb where Jesus lay.

An angel clad in white they see,
Who sat, and spoke unto the three,
"Your Lord has gone to Galilee."

That night the apostles met in fear;
Amidst them came their Lord most dear,
And said, "My peace be on all here."

When Thomas, first the tidings heard,
How they had seen the risen Lord,
He doubted the disciples' word.

"My wounded side, O Thomas, see;
Behold my hands, my feet," said he,
"Not faithless, but believing be."

No longer Thomas then denied,
He saw the feet, the hands, the side;
"You are my Lord and God," he cried.

How blessed are they who have not seen,
And yet whose faith has constant been,
For they eternal life shall win.

On this most holy day of days,
To God your hearts and voices raise,
In laud, and jubilee and praise.

Alleluia!

March 29 -  Jesus Calling

Stop trying to work things out before their times have come. Accept the limitations of living one day at a time. When something comes to your attention, ask Me whether or not it is part of today’s agenda. If it isn’t, release it into My care and go on about today’s duties. When you follow this practice, there will be a beautiful simplicity about your life: a time for everything, and everything in its time.

A life lived close to Me is not complicated or cluttered. When your focus is on My Presence, many things that once troubled you lose their power over you. Though the world around you is messy and confusing, remember that I have overcome the world. I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have Peace.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.
—Ecclesiastes 3:1

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
—John 16:33
