Greetings my friends!  Hope you all are having a great positive day today!  We got good news that Darla and Greg bought the house we looked at last week, and we're so excited.  It's only 8 miles from us!!  So much closer than Texas!!!  That's our blessing for today!!  Was praying they'd get that house, and prayers were answered.  Would like it if you would also share with us a blessing you got from God!  So many times we overlook His blessings to us.

 

Holy Spirit, Renew Us

Come, Holy Spirit, Renew us with your gifts!
Heal our brokenness, Wash our guilt away;
Pour down your wisdom, Guide us when we stray;

A Prayer for Loved Ones

Lord, be their Shepherd,
Keep them with the flock,
Watch them and tend him,

We pray to you, O Lord, who are the supreme Truth, and all truth is from you. We beseech you, O Lord, who are the highest Wisdom, and all the wise depend on you for their wisdom. You are the supreme Joy, and all who are happy owe it to you. You are the Light of minds, and all receive their understanding from you. We love, we love you above all. Life is not a simple journey

Every step, every stumble, and every victory that we experience each 
day, have already been experienced by Jesus.

Lord Jesus, I have many difficulties and fears to face each day, and I 
don't know what to do or who to turn to in my times of need.

So often, I feel alone on my journey through life, and at times I feel 
that even you are NOT with me when I need you most.

Open my mind and heart now, as I spend these moments praying and 
meditating on your immense love for me.

Help me to see that I am not alone, that you are with me, and that all 
my brothers and sisters have problems, needs and dreams that await your 
action.

Keep me from all harm, and guide me in your everlasting ways.

Stay close to me, Lord, 
You are my life, without You I am nothing.

October 20 - Jesus Calling

I am your living God, far more abundantly alive than the most vivacious person you know. The human body is wonderfully crafted, but gravity and the inevitable effects of aging weigh it down. Even the most superb athlete cannot maintain his fitness over many decades. Lasting abundant life can be found in Me alone. Do not be anxious about the weakness of your body. Instead, view it as the prelude to My infusing energy into your being.

As you identify more and more fully with Me, My Life becomes increasingly intertwined with yours. Though the process of aging continues, inwardly you grow stronger with the passing years. Those who live close to Me develop an inner aliveness that makes them seem youthful in spite of their years. Let My Life shine through you, as you walk in the Light with Me.
