Hello my friends! This has to be short because I just got home and I'm tired, but the birthday party went well, cheese cake and pizza was good, the twins posed for pictures all dressed up! It's hard to get them both with their eyes open.
They've been very fussy at night for Darla, Greg has to work so he sleeps and she has the night duty. And she isn't well yet. They were up crying for 4 hours! I told her that I'll come tonight and stay with her, she said no, because I will be there all day tomorrow, but tomorrow night she'd like that, so we will - Linus will help me stay the night so she can get some rest. I have off Friday. Darla sure needs prayers for healing! She's got a doctor's appt. in the morning. I pray, too, that the twins can sleep at night after feedings, and not cry. Thought I'd come home with Linus after his work, get some things done, do this thread, and go back again later for the night. Pray for us for strength - and please pray for Linus who is suffering with a very sore hip. Friday he's getting X-Rays for it. Hope it's not serious and that PT can help it heal.
10 Suggestions to Help Develop a Healthy Self-Image
1. Hate your sin, but never hate yourself.
2. Be quick to repent.
3. When God gives you light, walk in it.
4. Stop saying negative things about yourself. God loves you and it's wrong to hate what He loves. He has great plans for you, so you're in conflict with Him when you speak negatively concerning your future.
5. Never be afraid to admit that you've made a mistake and don't always assume that when things go wrong, it must be 'my fault'.
6. Don't meditate excessively on what you've done, right or wrong; both of these activities keep your mind on you! Center your thoughts on Christ.
7. Take good care of yourself physically. Make the best of what God gave you to work with, but don't be obsessed with your appearance.
8. Never stop learning but don't allow your education to become a point of pride. God doesn't use you because of what's in your head: He uses you because of what's in your heart.
9. Realize that your talents are a gift, not something you have manufactured yourself; never look down on people who can't do what you do.
10. Don't despise your weaknesses they keep you dependent on God.
O Holy Spirit, beloved of my soul, I adore You. Enlighten me, guide me, strengthen me, console me. Tell me what I should do - give me Your orders. I promise to submit myself to all that You desire of me and to accept all that You permit to happen to me. Let me only know Your will.
-Cardinal Mercier

Relax in My healing, holy Presence. Allow Me to transform you through this time alone with Me. As your thoughts center more and more on Me, trust displaces fear and worry. Your mind is somewhat like a seesaw. As your trust in Me goes up, fear and worry automatically go down. Time spent with Me not only increases your trust; it also helps you discern what is important and what is not.
Energy and time are precious, limited entities. Therefore, you need to use them wisely, focusing on what is truly important. As you walk close to Me, saturating your mind with Scripture, I will show you how to spend your time and energy. My Word is a lamp to your feet; My Presence is a Light for your path.
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
—Ephesians 5:15–16 nkjv
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
—Psalm 119:105

Gloriajean, praying for your strength, Darla's healing and Linus's hip. Take care of yourselves and know God is with you and we are all here for you too. Breathe and take things one step at a time.
Summer school ends today so kind of sad but a good few weeks. I enjoyed it a lot. Now, a week of a few days at the museum and back to the school year Monday August 22nd. Cannot wait! I love summer so holding on to it for a few more weeks. I am not a late fall or winter person just dislike the cold weather. Someday I will move south!
Hope ladies your day is filled with joy, love and peace. Embrace it all and know God is with us.
Peace,Nancy

Gloria,I'm praying for y'all. You have a lot going on.
Thanks for you prayers for my daughter, she got the job. Her manager cried when she told her she was leaving but she understood. I told my daughter I had been praying for something to come her way, she agreed that prayers were answered.
I hope you all are having a good day, so far. Been a busy day for me.
I need to get busy again so I will hush. God bless and take care.
