Hello my friends! God blessed me with an ordinary day today! Praise the Lord!! Got a long letter from a good friend I haven't heard from in a long while! Trying to call her, but so far busy signal. Found her on Facebook, but don't know if she goes there much. Hope you all have had a wonderful day today!!

There is always something to thank God for. Lord, may my attitude of

gratitude last a lifetime.

M E D I T A T I O N F O R T H E D A Y

Gratitude to God is the theme of Thanksgiving Day. The pilgrims
gathered to give thanks to God for their harvest which was pitifully
small. When we look around at all the things we have today, how can we
help being grateful to God? Our families, our homes, our friends; all
these things are free gifts of God to us. "But for the grace of God,"
we would not have them. God gives us this day too, to rest and to give
thanks.

P R A Y E R F O R T H E D A Y

I pray that I may be very grateful today. I pray that I may not forget
where I might be but for the grace of God.

Why Things Happen As They Do

I HAVE MOVED!

Can't remember if I told you all, but:

I have moved out from 1 Beggars Alley, located at 2 Poverty Lane at
the corner of Bleak and Buster Circle. As of today, I have a brand new
home.

My new address is: Living Well on 3 Abundance Drive, located at the
corner of Blessings Street and Prosperity Peak. No longer! will I
allow my self to travel on Begging Peter to pay off Paul route,
located at a dead end intersection called I Don't Have, it connects
with Borrowers Junction.

I no longer hang out at Failure's Place, near Excuses Avenue, next to
Procrastination Point. I've moved on to an Upscale community called
Higher Heights with unlimited potential and opportunities for me to
succeed.

Look at me. Each day that I'm awake, I am thankful to be a product of
my new environment. All my clothes are tailor made. I'm dressed in
life's finest. Let me introduce you to all of them: Divine Favour,
Conceive, Believe, Act on Faith, Be Persistent, and Always be Prepared
to Achieve.

Life is good because God is good! Care to change your address? There
are many vacancies!

Unfailing Prayer to St. Anthony

O holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and Charity for his creature, made you worthy, while on earth, to possess miraculous powers.
Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore of you to obtain for me (request). The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even so, your are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. Amen.

A Prayer for Today

Lord Jesus, I want to hear your voice in the Scripture passage and to receive with an open heart whatever you want to tell me. I believe in you, hope in you, and love you.

God the Father, help me to be steadfast in your love.

January 6 - Jesus Calling

I am able to do far beyond all that you ask or imagine. Come to Me with positive expectations, knowing that there is no limit to what I can accomplish. Ask My Spirit to control your mind, so that you can think great thoughts of Me. Do not be discouraged by the fact that many of your prayers are yet unanswered. Time is a trainer, teaching you to wait upon Me, to trust Me in the dark. The more extreme your circumstances, the more likely you are to see My Power and Glory at work in the situation. Instead of letting difficulties draw you into worrying, try to view them as setting the scene for My glorious intervention. Keep your eyes and your mind wide open to all that I am doing in your life.
