Hello my friends! Another beautiful day God gave us today! Wishing you all a blessed and positive Thursday! We have lunch to look forward to with Lori coming, unless she has a client to fill in, today I mostly rested, giving my hands a lot of rest - but made a good chicken dinner tonight! I've still be doing most of the cooking.
Look beyond people's behaviors and have compassion for what may
be causing their insensitivities. Lord, I will not take everything personal
because I don't know the weight of my neighbor's cross.

M E D I T A T I O N F O R T H E D A Y
"Praise the Lord." What does praising God mean? It means being
grateful to God for all the wonderful things in the universe and all
the blessings in our lives. We can praise God by being grateful and
humble. Praise of this kind has more power to vanquish evil than has
mere resignation. The truly grateful and humble person who is always
praising God is not tempted to do wrong. We can have a feeling of
security because we know that fundamentally all is well. So we can
look to God and praise God.

I pray that I may be grateful for all my blessings. I pray that I may
humbly accept all that God has given me.
PEACE of HEART
Almighty and Eternal God, Give me, I beseech You, the great gift of inward peace. Command the winds and storms of my unruly passions. Subdue, by Your grace, my proneness to love created thing too much. Give me a love of suffering for Your sake. make me forbearing and kind to others, that I may avoid quarrels and contentions. And teach me constantly to seek after and to acquire that perfect resignation to Your Holy Will which alone brings interior peace. Amen.
Reach Up

The journey each of us walks is not always a meadow full of flowers. Sometimes it is a journey up a mountain, loose rocks and steep inclines.
We so often loose sight of the beautiful scenery because of our attempts to hold on. We have to struggle with many things in this world that makes us feel alone.
Arthritis grips us tight and wrenches pain from within. Diabetes cuts our feelings ulcerates our skin. Cancer files away at the cells of our body and leaves us weak. Blindness takes away our vision and paints our world black. Mental disabilities hold our thoughts and leave us in a lonely room. Cruelty of others cuts our hearts and leaves us empty.
We were born to celebrate, to reach up and believe. We were born to rejoice, to lift our hands to life. We were born to sing, to paint rainbows with our voice. We were born to love, to hold the hands of gentleness. We were born to share, to be a blessing to those around us.
Reach up, my friend and believe for that is God's dream. Lift your hands, my friend and live for that is God's purpose. Paint your world, my friend with songs for that is God's compassion. Hold on, my friend with gentleness for that is God's love. Bless those around you, my friend for you are God's gift.
