Greetings my friends!! Hope you all are having a great Sunday! It was a laid back day for me, we played some Canasta, and he won!! Now he's watching the SuperBowl. For lunch today he made a pork roast in the oven, on convection bake, put it in before Mass and it was delicious when we got home. I just added some potatoes and veggies then and we had a good meal! Wishing you all a great next week filled with many blessings that God wants to give!!
If everyone thought alike, no one would have to do much thinking.
Lord, bless me with the strength of my convictions and the ability
to disagree when necessary without being disagreeable.

The life-line, the line of rescue, is the line from the soul to God.
On
one end of the life-line is our faith and on the other end is God's power.
It can be a strong line and no soul can be overwhelmed who is linked to God
by it. I can trust in this life-line and never be afraid. God can save me
from doing wrong and from the cares and troubles of life. I can look to God
for help and trust God for aid when I am emotionally upset.
P R A Y E R F O R T H E D A Y
I pray that no lack of trust of fearfulness will make me disloyal to God. I
pray that I may keep a stronghold on the life-line of faith.

Love and Mercy Queen of Peace
O Mother mine, Mother of goodness,
love and mercy, I love You infinitely
and I offer myself to You. By means
of Your goodness, Your love and Your
Grace, save me. I desire to be Yours.
I love You infinitely, and desire You to
protect me.
From the depth of my heart I pray you
Mother of goodness, give me Your
goodness. Let me gain Heaven by means
of it. I pray You, by Your infinite love,
to give me the grace so that I may love
every man, as You have loved Jesus

to be merciful towards You.

Jesus is coming to earth again --

What are you saying; are your words good or bad,
Positive or negative, happy or sad?
The words of your mouth lead to failure or success.
Do you ever wonder how you got into that mess?
You are in charge of the words that you speak.
Will you be strong, or will you be weak?
Do you speak words of sickness, or words of health?
Do you speak of poverty, or are your words of wealth?
What you say each day is what comes to pass in your life.
Are your days full of peace, or are they full of strife?
Your life will reflect the words that you say.
Speak positive, uplifting words and life will manifest that way.
Speak negative, depressing, 'Oh, poor me' kind of things...
Then the road to failure is what these words will bring.
It's your choice; it's up to you.

February 7 - Jesus Calling
Come to Me for rest and refreshment. The journey has been too much for you, and you are bone-weary. Do not be ashamed of your exhaustion. Instead, see it as an opportunity for Me to take charge of your life.
Remember that I can fit everything into a pattern for good, including the things you wish were different. Start with where you are at this point in time and space, accepting that this is where I intend you to be. You will get through today one step, one moment at a time. Your main responsibility is to remain attentive to Me, letting Me guide you through the many choices along your pathway.
This sounds like an easy assignment, but it is not. Your desire to live in My Presence goes against the grain of “the world, the flesh, and the devil.” Much of your weariness results from your constant battle against these opponents. However, you are on the path of My choosing, so do not give up! Hope in Me, for you will again praise Me for the help of My Presence.
