I grew up in MI and lived there MOST of my adult life. My advice would be to either take up snowmobiling or become totally involved in an INDOOR hobby. The winters in upper Michigan are long and brutal. Hope you have a fireplace you can enjoy!!!

We have two and heat our house w/wood all 3600 sq ft of it. It is really beautiful here in the winter. I like to watch the snow on the trees in our forest. We feed many woodland creatures.

And what have you done? Another year over, and a new one just begun.
