@ECBG I'm so sorry to hear that your DH is having health issues.  Prayers sent that he recovers quickly and they find out what is wrong...hopefully something minor.

Good that you posted this here.  I didn't read Outfit of the Day and would have missed it.  I will keep your DH in my prayers that the doctors can locate the problem.

My DH just got a confirmed diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's so I can definitely relate to your concerns.  For what it's worth, there's a lot of medical intervention available for blocked arteries.  Hopefully they will find the location and take care of it.  He could be walking Shadow before you know it.

@ECBG   Thank you for the update- I'm very glad that your husband has a healthy heart and that he is coming home today and that he can rest and destress at home with you .  Your husband is in good hands and its good that he's referred to a cardiologist who can have checkups with him if needed.  I'm sorry that you fell down the stairs- take it easy over the next few days and ice that shin of yours if you can! You've had a very stressful time through this, but you both weathered this storm with grace, determination and strength and sunny days are ahead. Heart

My goodness @ECBG   This news has made my day.  As someone who internalizes most everything I can attest that being nervous can make it hard to eat or keep anything down.  I am so glad that your husband is coming home today and I'm really sorry that you took a tumble down the stairs.

Re: DH Update 8/25

[ Edited ]

Many Thanks Ladies!

After keeping my shin elevate with cold gel belts, I went to urgent care.

I now have a light boot on my left ankle with a big goose egg.  The shin is wrapped.  I am elevated with cold gel packs.

I was also x rayed.  My left shoulder may be swollen. It does have a rug burn and small cut.  They will call with the x ray results.

*Edit:  Got the call about my x ray.  I have a loose bone chip in my left sprained ankle.  I have a trip to the orothopedist very soon for a boot.Smiley Sad.

@shoesnbags ,  I'm very sorry to hear of your husband's dual diagnoses, and praying for you.  May I suggest the online blog "A Charming Abode" to you?  Leslie there disclosed about 3 years ago, her husband's Lewy Body Dementia.  She and her precious husband give regular updates on their challenges, and also support to others undergoing the same thing.  They are a beautiful couple with much to share.

@ECBG ,  you must take care of yourself.  Oh, my goodness, what an annoying fall!  Glad that your husband can now be at home, where you two can rest and recoup, while the 'medical types' investigate and treat.  Thank you so much for taking the time to keep us posted!
