If money were no object, I'd have a live-in chef and I'd have lots of seafood.

I would love to have a chef. Also, a driver to take me to elegant restaurants, when I don't want to eat at home.

After cooking for 58 years , most of it for a family of 7, I'm

tired of cooking.

Re: Criss/Cross

[ Edited ]

Joe's Stone Crabs with their creamed spinach and lyonnaise potatoes. Pick up at their pick up window. Caught that morning. All their complimentary rolls with butter. Their key lime pie.

Fresh Maine Lobster, melted butter

Prime New York strip steaks on the Weber Grill with charcoal, not gas

VEAL, IMPORTED FROM SWITZERLAND (can't stand what has happened to the veal here..awful) made into Veal Oscar with sauce Robert and bernaise

Chateaubriand, Prime only. Not sure which marinade I'd make.

Goose Liver  Foie Gras. Made by Chef Clime, can't think of his last name. He has a source for the best. I need at least two orders.

Pates of all kinds.

Dungeness Crab

My Shrimp  Etouffee with live gulf shrimp that I have to remove the heads and shells from and pre make a shrimp stock from to go into the dish. I have severe fatigue and a problem standing in one place, so I'd pay to have a person do my dish while I sat next to them giving them step by step directions.

I love to cook for my husband and family and guests.

I hate to cook for myself (I don't eat what they do).

So I'd love to have a chef prepare my meals.

And a gardener to plant and tend all organic veggies for me.

@Group 5 minus 1   Wow, you got me with that question. I'm really not a "foodie" as far as choices, but can "eat a truck driver under the table"...huge amounts at a sitting. No haters, but I don't gain weight easily.

I stay on the Mediterranean Diet because I love fresh fish and veggies anyway...not that costly if I shop what's available in season.

I will splurge on a night out with a huge filet mignon or lobster tails...or both... Surf and Turf. I also won't pass up the wedge salad with the blue cheese and bacon. That salad is expensive and I never finish it becuase it's usually enough for a table of six.

I would want travel and food. A good pesto over pasta on the coast of Amalfi.

@godi   I agree about traveling and local food specialities.... can't get those dishes here. I love steak frites at any Bistro in Paris.
