Sounds like she has a master's degree in manipulation. Ben will probably get his butt burned as well.

Just because she retires doesn't mean they go away...and if I'm not mistaken - I very well could be, even though they are in deferment the interest still keeps growing.

Has she thought about any interest she will have to pay. What about trying to pay off massive debt after you are retired? Makes no sense. I can't stand people that work off the system as you say they are doing. Makes me sick.

Good Question! Only people with logic and a conscience think of these things. I do not think she cares.
For some reason she believes that once she is in retirement 65 year old+ that the student loan debt interest and all vanishes.
I honestly thought I was caught on some Candid camera gag-show.
She speaks so eloquently with a lot of authority and expertise.

It seems to me that "Ben" is part of this scheme because he is knowingly participating in it. She will move on from him, too, and then he will be her next child support. On to baby daddy #3. The kids will be trained in this behavior because all momma knows is how to do work the system. I don't know how someone like this sleeps at night. I guess i was raised with values and instilled them in my daughter. Just curious what Ben's parents had to say. i know i would voice my opinion to him and it wouldn't be pretty.

@cookie16 You are so right about "Ben." Too bad he can't see the forest for the trees. He's playing right into her "plan."

Not a day goes by without myself being reminded of the clear division of the classes. No blurred lines here...

This is in the realm of urban legends. Like those stories about the food stamp recipients who drive around in 2017 Mercedes. A plan like that would not even be possible because there is a limit on how much student loan debt a person can carry, especially at the graduate level. No one could ever borrow for a lifetime...lol It is funny to think about though that 70 year old person who can't quality for SSA retirement because she's been a student for 50 years...lol And owes $2.3 million dollars in student loan debt...lol And never graduated!

Oh, dear, I think I know this couple!

Wow... this really irks me. I can't believe they will keep allowing her to borrow money if she's made no effort to pay on the current loans. I know you can defer while still in school but there's gotta be a limit-right? Sad part is she'll probably end up getting her loans forgiven. Really not fair to those that faithfully pay what they owe.
