Crazy Shipping Everywhere

I guess QVC isn't the only company with wacko shipping. I ordered 4 of the same item, different colors from Kohls. Ordered on Mon. The items didn't get to the shippers until Wednesday. One item is coming by UPS and the others by FedEx.

So, I should have known better but about 1 or 2 weeks ago I was on here and I said I've even gotten my QVC clothes and some jewelry the next day. It seldom takes more than 2 or 3 days!!

Well, ever since I said that, I've put the heebie jeebies on it because it seems like now it takes much longer! Ha!

My mailman/woman is a pain in the neck. On Thursday afternoon my friend calls me and says, "Annabelle, I'm bringing up your mail. There's so much mail the mailman has put your small box on the ground from your mailbox! I have one of those very large mailboxes.

But this is funny (I think it is). While my friend was standing and talking to me she said, "What's that green and white bag on your lawn?" My lawn looks and is the size of a football field. I just go in and out of the garage with the car and don't pay attention. The driveway is about 200 ft long so I don't pay attention to the lawn.

She goes out on the lawn and brings back the package. It's a QVC item I'd ordered. We had fierce weather last week (some parts had a tornado hit). I guess it was on the porch and blew away.

It was totally dry (thanks to the plastic bag).

Anyway about the crazy shipping. I've been told by QVC because they have contracts with UPS and the post office there is no specific way to make sure my packages come a certain way.

I intend to complain to the mail people (headquarters near me) that I do not want the packages left on the XXX road. We'll see how that works.

So much for them offering good service. If it wouldn't fit he could have put it in a grocery bag and hung it on the box (the old mail guy used to do that).
