Boy, I would have loved to see that! The vendor surely should have known better than to try that live. Corelle is glass. 🤦♀️
We swapped out our big, heavy, storage space demanding dishes for white Corelle a few years ago and have been very content with it.

It was pretty funny and worth watching. @Caaareful Shopper posted this:
QVC pulled the Corelle video from the website.
But you can still see it on their QVC Live Facebook page under the ITKWD post of the whole show!

lol, Live TV, can't beat it. It happens. I hoped they laughed about it. I have Corelli pieces that are 40-50 yrs old, you can't get rid of the stuff. Mine has never broken. Take that back. Once years ago a small, cassarole dish broke in oven. That was a mess. She must have hit it just right because it is pretty stron stuff, we have dropped some. I packed it away. Mine was all made in USA, are they still made in US?

There is another Corelle thread.
I've had Corelle plates, bowls, and cups for years and years without any problem at all.
Also, they seem to 'float' in a dishpan of water.
Very easy to clean and nothing seems to permanently stain them.
The best of luck to all Corelle owners and to everyone here.

My kitchen floor is laminate and the Corelle shards went everywhere. Swept, vacuumed mopped, still found some around later. I'm just glad my great grandson wasn't in his little walker so near the floor.

I like the look, I like the price, but I will never purchase Corelle because all those glass shards, especially the tiny splinters, can be deadly in a multi-pet household.
We prefer ceramic--yes, it breaks too, but the pieces are much easier to clean up!

Don't know if you see that in the pic but during the live demo the pieces went flying and as you both say lots of tiny little shards.
@rockygems123. When Corelle breaks in shards and pieces, it's just like glass, not pottery.
