Commercial that makes me sniff....

My favorite commercial that makes me tear up every time is the one for Voltaren, when the man decides to take what I assume is his dad to a spot that they visited years ago - but the (son?) man has pain and rubs some 'Voltaren' on his knee and stretches for the journey he's about to take with his dad, who is a wheelchair. It stirs my soul every time ! You can find it on 'youtube' by typing in "The Joy of Reliving Memories,Voltaren Arthritis Pain Gel'...you can ''feel the love'' !

That is a heartwarming commercial. My doctor prescribed Voltaren for my shoulder pain. Insurance doesn't pay for it because it's now available over the counter. I used it first 3 weeks and my shoulder is 90% better. It just twinges when I put my arm over my head. I'll definitely use it on my knee if that pain kicks in again. I do wonder why no doctor ever mentioned it to me before.

I have intermittent back pain and my neighbor was prescribed Voltaren. She gave me a tube of it to use but I haven't tried it yet. Next time my back flares up I'll use it.

Glad it is helping your shoulder..

Everyone should know..if you need to have someone help you put it on and they have a heart condition..they need to wear gloves!

DH needed to help me put it on my back..His cardiologist.. said he needed to wear gloves...Also he is not allowed to use Voltaren..due to his heart meds.

@Jo1313 Well that's important to know. I'm going to look it up and see what I can find on it. Heaven only knows at this age, that could be a very good thing.

Sold on Amazon and I read what was said on there. Unless my doctor says for me to use it, I'll pass. Even though it's sold over the counter, it has not been tested (it says) for

hips, knees or shoulders. Just the places I'd need it for. They show where to use it. None of these 3 show that. So I'll stick with my Ibprofen. JFYI
