No one could ever spoil Christmas for me. Maybe it’s a good time to remember what Christmas is really about. This pandemic has really made people realize what is important to them, maybe it’s time to realize the true meaning of Christmas.

I feel bad for the kids if this is true, but we have also conditioned them to associate tons of gifts with the holiday.

The last several years have been a reset of all sorts and the pandemic has been one of the most personal.

@depglass I am waiting three months for a new refrigerator. My current one is 25 years old and the seals are bad and motor noisy etc. I ordered it in May. It is a $1500 Samsung. No ice maker or water dispenser, so not fancy. I can understand there are delays in home building materials and car parts as a friend is waiting months for a car bumper replacement.

I wasn't happy about the wait in July when usually so hot but have no choice and hope the old one hangs in there until then. My dishwasher pump went out in March and they were immediately available, a Bosch, although I looked at a Maytag. No waiting.

My washer and dryer are Speed Queen I believe they are made in Wisconsin.

I can already see the threads (from "newbies") about how QVC "ruined" their Christmas because the main, big gift that they bought for their child didn't arrive, and now little Jimmy or Beth, is now inconsolable, and won't stop crying.

I am making that prediction right here, right now.

Anybody think that it won't happen?

The Sky looks different when you have someone you love up there.
