Kelly Thiebaud Reveals What She Thinks Of Steve Burton’s GH Return
Could the return of Jason Morgan prompt another fan favorite coming back?

The wait is over. Steve Burton is back on General Hospital as Jason Morgan. As evidenced by what viewers have seen already, Jason is wasting no time in getting back into the thick of things. Fans of the actor tuned in to see him, and, according to Burton’s social media, a former leading lady from GH was among those who were curious to see his big return.
“My first [GH] show back!” Burton enthused in a video taken in the show’s parking lot that he posted on Instagram. “I’ll be doing a live show later this week or next week for Daily Drama to talk my first week back!”
In the comments section, Burton’s former leading lady, Kelly Thiebaud (ex-Dr. Britt Westbourne) posted, “I guess I need to tune in today and see where you’ve been hiding!” Responses to the Daytime Emmy-winner’s remark were swift and enthusiastic...We miss you.”
While Jason’s body was never found after that cave-in in late 2021, allowing for the character’s return to be more plausible, Britt, alas, died on-screen. She went out as a true heroine, saving Josslyn’s life. Poor Britt died thinking that Jason was already dead. “I love him so much,” Thiebaud told Soap Hub about working with Burton. “What a genuine, funny, kind, and supportive person. I feel so lucky to work with him. I’m really excited that this chemistry came out of nowhere.” I always like to read the actors I like are liked/loved by their co-workers.
Thiebaud had been around soaps long enough by the time the show put Jason and Dr. Westbourne together (hence, the couple’s handle — “Jason Westbourne,’ a nod to the Matt Damon superspy), there would be reactions from various fan bases. “I get the ‘JaSam’ fans are diehards,” she said at the time. “[But] people are loving us together. I know it’s hard for people to embrace change. Some may not like what’s going on but there may be a part of them that is also interested.”
The actress, who reunited with her GH pals last December at the 50th Annual Daytime Emmys as a nominee, said about a year ago that she wanted Britt to die so that she could have closure with the character. Asked about a return anyway, she thoughtfully responded, “We all know you can always come back on soaps,” she says. “[But], personally, I needed [Britt] to die so that I, Kelly, can move on from that character. Coming back would need to be done in a special way. I don’t know if I would want to do that…it was a tough, a very tough decision [to leave]. I feel bad about it, but also, I was happy about it.”

@Coquille @GinaV24 according to the reports the big return is going to be a success. At least per Steve's opinion. @grandma r this is such good news about one of the head co-writers. Imagine...someone writing for the show who actually knows the history of the show.
GH News and Spoilers: Steve Burton Reveals That Jason’s Storyline Deviated From Original Plans
Micki Swift

Steve Burton’s return has been nothing short of incredible for the majority of General Hospital fans. Based on GH fan reactions across social media, Steve Burton’s return debut continues to receive raving reviews.
Burton Reveals How Jason Morgan's Storyline Changed Course
Thankfully, prayers were answered when his surprise return was announced. Fans immediately began to speculate about how Jason would be reintroduced to the canvas. According to the latest GH news and spoilers, Burton revealed the decision for Steve to return came before the recent writer switch. As a result, Jason’s storyline took a different direction.
GH spoilers reveal that Burton opened up to Soap Opera Digest about his storyline. “So apparently there was a whole different story planned and then the head writer switch happened and then they kind of rebooted (the story arc). I know Patrick (Mulcahey, one of the new head writers) a little bit, but I really know Elizabeth Korte (who was promoted to co-head writer).” Burton disclosed to the news outlet.
“There’s no one in the building that loves that show, knows the history of the character, and is invested in it 100 percent than Elizabeth. There has never been a more deserved promotion, ever. Once I know that she was (one of the head writers), I was like, ‘Oh, this is gonna be good! I cannot wait.’ And it has been exactly that. Everything has been amazing.”
It sounds like Steve is just as excited about his comeback as the rest of us! His faith in the new writing team gives hope for an exciting future at General Hospital.

A former Daytime Emmy nominee got a big shoutout at the Academy Awards.

Briana Nicole Henry, formerly Jordan on General Hospital, receive a nice shoutour from her husband at this year’s Oscars. Kris Bowers, Henry’s spouse, won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Film, The Last Repair Shop. The film tells the story of four unassuming heroes who work hard to make sure that no school pupil is deprived of the joy of music.
“The Last Repair Shop is about the heroes in our schools who often go unsung, un-thanked and unseen tonight you are sung, you are thanked, and you are seen,” Bowers said from the winners’ podium. “Thank you all so much for what you do. [Composer] John Williams inspired me to become a composer. He went to L A public schools. I went to L A public schools.
“This is Porché Brinkerd,” Bowers continued, introducing a young violin player who joined him on stage. “She’s 12 years old. She’s going to play violin in public school. L.A. is one of the last cities in America to give public school students free and freely repaired instruments. And we need to fix that because music education isn’t just about creating incredible musicians. It’s about creating incredible humans.”
...Bowers gave thanks to Search Light, LA Times, Breakwater Studios, and “every human who poured their heart into this film.” The Oscar-winner also thanked “My Mom and Dad, and also to my wife Brianna and our daughter Coda. I love you. I love you. I love you.” Henry is credited as an executive producer of The Last Repair Shop...

Looks like she's still not ready to take responsibility for her deplorable actions.
Former GH Actress Haley Pullos Denies Wrongdoing in Civil Case
Michael Maloney

The ex-General Hospital performer is dealing with a host of legal issues.
Haley Pullos, as Molly Lansing-Davis, was in her share of courtrooms on General Hospital. Now, the actress is hoping to stay out of a real-life courtroom related to a civil case.
Haley Pullos: The Latest Development
In April 2023, Pullos was charged with felony DUI. While that criminal case is ongoing, Pullos is also facing a civil case. She’s now claiming, in regards to the civil matter, that she is not responsible for damages caused in the accident, according to Fox New. Plaintiff Courtney Wilder stated in his complaint that he “suffered severe, lasting injuries which have required extensive surgery and treatment and will continue to require treatment.”
Wilder says that his car was wrecked in the incident. Wilder is suing not only Pullos but also the establishment where she worked and allegedly drank alcohol prior to the crash, as well as the California Department of Transportation for failing to mark the lanes properly.
Wilder is seeking damages, including but not limited to payment for his medical bills and lost wages. He also wants the former GH lawyer to pay his legal bills. Devre D. Ross, Pullos’s attorney, says her client “denies generally and specifically each and every allegation” and also denies that Wilder “sustained, or will sustain, any loss or damage in the manner or amount alleged.”
Firefighters reportedly had to remove the actress from her automobile forcefully. Later, she had to be sedated at the hospital after she became aggressive and began fighting hospital staff.

@Tique , somewhere I read she states she wasn't to blame. I am thinking this may just be after the lawsuit was filed her attorney's answer to the lawsuit; in other words, basic normal legal responses that would be filed, things done in any civil case to minimzed the damages if that makes sense.
Because if she is going to stand on the fact it wasn't her fault that won't bode well for her to get a good outcome when she goes to try to do a plea bargain to get the felonies dismissed and a slap on the wrist.

@Tique THANKS for sharing Tique. I saw that presentation and was thrilled with the fact that two children were brought on stage. I loved Porche's joy and her self-confidence. I stood up and applauded Bower's comments.
