I saw a nuthatch upside down on my peanut feeder this morning! Chicadees, cardinals, blue jays, mourning doves, sparrows, woodpeckers and finches (Gold, house and common) visit my feeders all day. I haven't seen the juncos yet (these migrate from Canada to our area). It's been too warm for them to come visit. I do have a large plastic saucer from a large container that I use a de-icer inside to supply water through the winter months.

I just had TJ's Crab and Langostino Rangoon won tons (I think they're somewhat new). Beautiful and delicious - you could proudly serve them at a party. Just a few minutes in the toaster oven and instant classy yum!

Trader Joe's has wonderful appetizers imo.  I love the tiny tacos, my favorite.  We tried their shrimp toast for the first time for New Year's Eve and they were delicious.  They manage to get a really buttery crusty toast piece that softens at the top for the shrimp.  Not soggy, just softer.

I have had the mini tacos before, but I'll have to look out for the shrimp toast.

Thank you for the blood test good wishes, I can certainly use them Smiley Happy

I wish the same for you.  You've been doing a lot lately, I hope that means you are doing well.

DD is here, recovering from the concussion which turned out to have difficult side effects.  No reading allowed, which she is definitely not happy about.  She has wonderful friends, and one of them turned her on to the British baking show which she's really enjoying, and the kitties are providing cuddles and entertainment.  Thank goodness for our pets Heart

I love the idea of your little dog in his rain slicker Woman LOL

I had forgotten until the other night while reading about your daughter that I'd had a concussion after a car accident. I did not go to the doctor right away, and was pretty much diagnosed about 4-5 days later when I finally went because of unusually nasty and recurring headaches and when I described my symptoms he said yep most likely concussion. No x-rays ordered, nothing prescribed. The doctor was pushing 80 and retired soon after. I think I was lucky ;-(

Hi ladies . . . I love TJ's mini chicken pot pies appetizers (and I am taking a lot of liberties with the name of that appetizer) as they are delicious and very filling (think dinner which is what mtc did) . . . Smiley Happy

I've had those - pretty tasty!

DD takes the time to put just a little shredded cheddar inside the tacos and serves them with a dollop of sour cream to dip into.

Hope you like the shrimp toast.  I've seen them on menus in Chinese restaurants, so maybe that's the origin.

You and I both were lucky.  I feel like a football player, I've had several, one took me out of school for six weeks when I was in junior high.  It's the reason I had such a struggle with algebra.  You don't miss the first six weeks of algebra and hop right into place when you come back.

She has post concussive syndrome.  Not the psychological one, but the neurological one.  They say it will pass with time.

Hi @momtochloe

I haven't seen those but will be on the lookout for them.  DD loves pot pies!

I ordered a new pressure cooker cookbook, 5 star reviews, 700 plus recipes.

@Noel7 ok young lady you need to step away from the cook book aisle my friend (says the woman who is staring at her dining room table piled high with books that I keep meaning to put . . . somewhere . . . save yourself before you become me . . . Smiley Happy

I hope you are feeling a bit better Noel and your daughter as well.  Heart

@Moonchilde are the mini tacos frozen or what section would I find these in as that sounds right up my culinary alley!
