I don't think anyone has ever made a CD with easy , soothing, calming music - without a 'blast' tune wrapped up  in there --somewhere in the middle of the CD !!!  If you know of a CD that has continual easy listening music '', all the way through'', I certainly would love to know about it ! TIA

I listen to the Easy Listening station on Xfinity.  Calming, soothing music whenever I want it.

Are you in the market for "easy soothing calming music" or "easy listening"?   These are two very different genres.

If the former, have you tried yoga music, or music for meditation?  I can't recommend any personally but have seen them advertised on yoga-related sites.

If "easy listening" is what you are seeking I have no clues but it's a large category from which to choose.

I listen to a PBS fm music station much of the day and love most of the music, which is usually classical.

@sarahpanda  If you have an Amazon Echo you can tell it to play soothing/calming music or sounds.

If you have a cd/dvd burner, you can download & burn onto a cd soothing/calming music or sounds from the net.  A good place to start isYouTube.

The most peaceful music I've ever heard and a favorite of mine is an album called Deep Peace by arranger Bill Douglas.  It's based on Celtic music.

@Desertdi ...I have a Bose CD player, bought many years ago, from QVC as a matter of fact...still sounds just as good now as it did brand new.  It's what puts me to sleep at night.

@sarahpanda   I've always loved the sound of the ocean lapping on the shore, a gentle rain, thunderstorms, etc. I have several CD's that I play while painting, reading and especially while falling asleep.

It's also helped my dogs become used to the sound of a thunderstorm so that when a real one comes, they just sleep through it. It's worked better than thunder shirts, etc.

@sarahpanda   I have several Bose combo radio/CD players in my rooms. I love them.
