@Shanus

The trees are budding and my beloved Bradford Pear trees are amazing but these cold 15 mph breezes are holding back the joy of spring dressing and the beautiful colors!

I am putting away my cashmere sweaters today.  I hate having half of one season's clothes out with another!

The best thing I have found are those knit jackets from Coldwater Creek!  At least I can look spring like but at least I won't freeze!

I feel like it's a slow crawl!, lol!

@ECBG   For now, hoarse  from last night's game and ready to cheer carolina on to the BIG WIN tomorrow night at 9:30 (!!!).

I haven't planted my pots because we still have had the occasional freeze. Cashmere put away last week, but left down the warm cardigans for mornings out. Switched out my gym clothes too early and now climbing up to second racks overhead to get my heavier sweatshirts. I put all boots in bins up top a few weeks ago.

Yes, the weather's been crazy and the pollen unbearable.

Poppin here to ask if you know that Bradford Pears 🍐 are  invasive to native trees?  I did not until recently visited with family in Greensboro.

@Shanus  @ECBG

The city of Greensboro is paying a 'bounty' on Bradford Pear Trees. Homeowners who remove them will receive funding for up to five replacement trees.  Apparently, they reseed easily, and are a threat to indigenous trees.

Family who live there showed me article about it.  Don't have copy.  Info on line.

***  'Greensboro + Bradford Pears.  Thought it was interesting, had no idea.

Horse here too, not going to help it any tonight! 💙💙💙
