The rain we had from Ivan was light.  We still have red dogwood trees, but the others are still green with leaves on.

We need cold weather to bring the color up.

@ECBG   Sorry I missed your post. We have limbs down in the yard and some ivy growing in my window boxes were blown away...maybe not planted deep enough. My mums were crushed by the hard rain and wind....will replace this afternoon.

 

Most of our leaves have changed color and the yard fellow came to blow them the day before the storm...caught him and stopped him...knew it would be a waste of time.

 

Enjoy the fall season...my favorite in the mountains and here. Sweater weather and my boots! What's not to love...
