@ECBG Thank you for your concern!💖 I am well; all things considered.😊 As you know, my dear mother was called to heaven in mid November, and since that time my life has had more peaks and valleys than The Grand Canyon.😄 It requires a great deal of travel, and I am quite busy from dusk til dawn most days.

How have things been in your neck of the woods? Did you fare ok with the recent snow storms? I have a friend on the East Coast who is still without power.😞

I have continued to keep you in prayer after the loss of your mother.  The difficulty of dealing with estate pains when you are still going through the difficulties of grief can be quite daunting.

I hope you will find one little nugget; a bird, a squirrel, a patch of beautiful blue sky to give you a smile every day.

@ECBG Awww.🥰 Your caring sentiment hugged my soul, and I thank you for it! You hit the nail on the head! I never knew the complexities involved in settling an estate; particularly one as complicated as hers.😐 And yes, the grief overwhelms me at times as I struggle to find joy everyday. Thankfully, it is getting a little easier.😊

I am sure the grief is very, very hard.  Just read that writing I sent you, it has helped me so very much.

@ECBG I was overcome with emotion just now as these comforting words tugged at my heart strings.❤ I was especially touched by the words, "wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow". I will strive to embrace them daily, as I am still sorrowful.😐

Although I have not had the wherewithal to visit the boards much as of late, I have been online paying bills this morning and decided to "peek" in and am so glad I did!!! Take great care.😊

I'm always here Sandy.  You may remember that passage from a priest's funeral sermon is available as a framed print.  Henry Scott-Holland.

@SandySparkles I do feel your pain!  Estates and managing affairs for elderly relatives can really take a toll on you!  Best wishes and prayers for you and so many facing this.

@SandySparkles I totally get your struggles. It's taken forever for me to settle my mom's estate. I'm finally going to list her home this month, after countless setbacks. Every day it's been something else to deal with. It's really aged me.

Just know that your posts are missed on the forums. You throw a special kind of sparkly fairy dust, of optimism and kindness, whenever you post. We can never have enough of that. Hang in there.
