The wild iris are beginning to come up at the lower pond.

I'll be glad to send you some pictures as things grow.  This is at the edge of a protected wet land.  No one can build next to us.

The 2 ponds are fed by the creek that comes through the cove.  When we have a big down pour, a few days later, the ponds get cleaned out.

That's just beautiful @ECBG .  Although I'm surrounded by flowers and greenery, it's a suburban manicured type of garden.  Your untamed surroundings are just lovely! Mother Nature at her finest.

The male mallard just walked momma mallard up the path to our deck!  If he's staying with her, she's pregnant again!
