Calling Housecat 1/16/22

Are you and DH ok?  It likely you won't get plowed until Tuesday since the major highways are done first.

 

Where we live, 4 WD are an absolute must to get to the highway.

 

We keep a kerosene heater incase we lose heat.  It's great and I can also boil water on it and cook on top of it if need be.

We're better than fine, thank you.

We lived in NY for the first 40 years of our lives.. the snow is like a welcome old friend.

We have a 4WD vehicle and the roads have been plowed. I'm not sure how icy they are, but my school is closed tomorrow, so I'm not concerned yet.

In the meantime, I made cinnamon rolls, did some crochet, worked on a jigsaw puzzle, read a bit and had a lovely Zoom visit with friends from CA and CO. It was a a very pleasant day.
