I'm not believing that little groundhog was right. We have a wintery mix predicted AGAIN tomorrow and Saturday. I went out yesterday and as usual the milk and bread folks were stocking up....a lot of French toast.  

I purchased coffee, my fat free 1/2 and 1/2 (better than nothing), some ingredients for a pot of chili I'll make today (I do half ground beef and sneak in half ground turkey). I read there's a frozen pizza shortage, of all things, so just went over to check and darn if the case wasn't almost empty. Not sure if it's because of the ice storm or just not available. 

Anyone else in  this storm's path, please stay safe and warm.

I'm tired of winter. It's supposed to be 20 below zero (before wind chill) and snow most of the weekend.  We have already received twice as much snow as usual this year. 

Every day is one more closer to spring.

About another inch or so here in east central Pa. upon awakening this morning, but it looks to be done with for now. They are saying that tomorrow's storm will miss us, but they've been known to be wrong. Another storm for Sat. into Sun. and something icy looking for Tues. In a bit I'll go out and clean off my sidewalk and driveway. Br safe out there.

We had snow this morning and are expecting the same ice you are expecting on Saturday into Sunday.  Then I just saw on the news that we expecting another snow storm potentially large storm on Monday night into Tuesday.

@ninjawife   Forecast here, another storm Wed. into Thurs. and my 2nd vaccine is Thurs.!!! Snowshoes?

NC is famous for Feb. being our worst wintery storm month...sometimes into March. My daughter was married 21 years ago on March 20 and it snowed the next morning. Honeymoon flight canceled. BTW, she was born April 4th in a snow storm .....6' of snow!!!

I have definitely hit a wall here. With Covid and my DH laid off and this weather. 🤦🏻‍♀️  I am truly ready to scream at this point.  🙏

@Krimpette  OOOOPS! Six INCHES not feet of snow. It WAS a heck of a lot of snow for us. I left the hospital with  boots, ski jacket and a baby wrapped in many blankets!!!

@Shanus  Whew!  Six inches is bad enough, in my mind!!!!!  Especially carrying a new baby!!!!!!!!!!

My hairdryer has gone out.  I have a doctor appointment and there is no way I am shampooing my hair this morning to go to the doctor with wet hair in this weather.  He will just have to say "there's an old lady who needs to shampoo."  Has anyone ever used dry shampoo?  I might have to do that over the weekend until I can get a hair dryer.
