Re: CHRISTMAS WEEK FORECAST, BURR

Thursday temps to start out in the 50s then drop to the teens or possibly single digits by the end of the day.  Weatherman says about a 50 degree difference.  Possibly a light rain/snow/ice as the front comes through.

Through Christmas Day (at least) it's supposed to be in the single digits for lows and below freezing during the day.

Brr...🥶

Are you aware that "Burr" is the prickly part of a plant?

Re: CHRISTMAS WEEK FORECAST, BURR

@geezerette   That is our forecast here in NE PA too.  They said with the rapid temp drop of 50 on Friday there could be black ice,

Of course, both my kids work Friday. Their rides homecould be dicey.

Not fond of cold and snow but I hate ice.

The weatherman here in St. Louis says it's going to be a cold and possibly snowy end of the week with a possible white Christmas. I enjoy a white Christmas but I don't like the real cold weather ! It's suppose to be a high temp of 9 degrees here on Friday Yes I said 9 degrees !!! that's not the wind chill !! BURR !!  We are suppose to get snow Wednesday night into Thursday  with some accumilation and rough driving conditions.

He's also saying the bad weather extends over a number of states so my wish is for everyone to stay safe this Christmas week, get your shopping done and have a wonderful holiday week !  Blessings to all !

What's the forecast for your area ?

I'm north and a little west of you by about 7 hours. It's -11 degrees here (6:00 AM). Our temps have been running 30 degrees below normal for at least a week.

We're expecting 12-18" of snow and -45 or worse wind chills tomorrow afternoon through Friday.

I'm on a side street so city plows don't get to us for a day or two after a big snowstorm. I can see a major street from home so that tells me a lot about what's going on.

I don't have anywhere to go this Christmas so maybe it is good thing given the weather.

Re: CHRISTMAS WEEK FORECAST, BURR

Here in WA state--we have snow  on the ground now and sub freezing temps--both at night and during the days until Friday--when it warms up like a rocket and melts it all away, with wind and rain--then over the weekend, highs in the low 50's??!!!  so weird for us ---well not really anymore---Woman Frustrated
