My dad's favorite performer was Bob Seger.  In his honor, DH, my BFFs and I saw his final show of his final tour.  It was great but man is Bob old!  Many in the audience were in wheelchairs and walkers.  My dad would have fit right in.

@ninjawife   I love Bob Seger, I didn't realize he had been touring. I bet that show was fantastic!

One of my all time favorite- I have seen him in concert at least half a dozen times- Which is why I chose NOT to this time...

Some things are better remembered, rather than experienced..

Best these days to just listen- after all "Rock and Roll Never Forgets"...

i feel the same way about the Rolling Stones.  I saw my first concert at 13 and Mick was already 40.  Saw them a couple more time but not since the 90s.  I know Mick's still got some moves but I'd rather not see hime break a hip trying to execute them.

I think I was about 16 or 17 when I went to his concert with my sister.  Bob Seger was, and still is, her favorite.  We had really good seats, like third row,  Could see him really well.  I still remember it after all these years.  My sister did go to his farewell tour.  Showed me some video, he sounded great.

Bob Seger was my very first concert I ever attended.  Myself and a few friends saw them at the Capitol Center in Largo MD.  Loved it!

ETA:  In the past few years I've gone to a few of those combination concerts with older groups that tour together - last one I attended was Styx, another older band and Journey all together.
