Back around 1968 or so,  Bob  Segar played  at our high school dances in the Detroit area.  At one dance, a girlfriend and I pushed past the woman guarding the back door and sat around with them on their break.  Bob gave me a string of blue plastic beads he was wearing.  They must have thought we were such dorks!

He played at my older brother's senior prom in about 1965.  They were called Bob Segar and the Heard, he must have been 19 or so.

 

Will be seeing him in Phoenix next year.

I'm sorry to hear he will no longer tour.  My favorite Bob Seger song is: "Still the Same."

I think Turn The Page has to be my all-time favorite of his. Night Moves and We've Got Tonight are probably second and third ... but I could pretty much listen to him sing anything.
