No breakfast for me.  I have never liked breakfast very much but do enjoy occassionally going out on the weekends.  My breakfast is the 32 ounces of coffee that I drink every morning.

Today I have INR followed by dental surgery.  The dentist plans to remove a tooth if my INR is in line.

Hope you all have a great day.

@Sassy7356 , Good morning. We eat breakfast every day.  I would over eat later, if I skipped the morning meal. My parents ate breakfast,so I was raised on it. I don't ever eat pastries, or sweets though, for my morning meal. Oatmeal is on my rotation, with a little sugar free syrup, and walnuts.

I hope your medical all goes well today. I see my oncologist this afternoon for my 6 month check. Then I need to stop by the grocery store for just a few items.

Note the large black and white bear in the photo.  Ed's parents gave him this bear when he had his tonsils removed at age 3!  When his mother found out about my love for bears she had it professionally cleaned and gifted it to me.  I still have it displayed in a cradle in our sunroom, along with several other favorites.   Heart  Smiley Happy

@AnikaBrodie , I love bears too. We have a picture of two bear cubs hanging over the fireplace. One is black, and the other brown. They are hugging a tree. So sweet.

Hi all,

Went to a supper that I had to bring something and after I came home I fell on my garage door steps. Isn't that the way it goes, just when you're recovering! ❤️‍🩹 I caught a lot of the fall by grabbing at handrail, just a lot of bruises and aches, I was very lucky. I think I am just tired and not lifting my feet enough.

Warm day today with bad storms coming tomorrow. Hope these spring storms don't get too severe. I know @possummink hates these storms too, I am thinking of her.

Bijou is doing fine. He gets into a toy flinging tizzy at least once a day, probably just burning off extra energy. He runs around during this period and surprisingly he even scoots under sofa, shocked me how he scrunched down to buzz under it. He is responding pretty good to come and sit as well.

Good night all

@hullie   So sorry to hear about your fall,I can relate.  Just as I was doing so well after my fall in December 2023, the fall this January just about did me in.  I posted about it at the time.  I think you are right about being tired and not lifting your feet, I notice this at times with me.  Comparatively speaking, I prefer falling upstairs to falling downstairs, but does anyone ever have a choice.

It is fun to hear of Bijou's activity, brings back memories even though I have not had a puppy in forty years, a Great Pyrenees, BIG puppy, lol. The dogs I have had since have been close to one year old when I adopted.

Regarding Bijou's responding to come and sit, Remmy always comes happily, but with my girl, I had to tell her to come so many times, and I watched as she was thinking if it was worth it to her to obey me, then she would finally come, head down, VERY slowly, lol, a trait of her breed, and is why I had her on a leash while she did her business, another very slow happening.  Remmy still charges outside, does it, and charges back inside, lol, so funny to see, and very appreciated.  I stand at the door watching him.

I am just lately getting to the point that I can actually get something done, but it is going slowly.

@Sweet Caroline 1  I guess freezing the pulled chicken would depend on the sale date. I've never had it and only occasionally have frozen fresh within several days. I've done it with barbecue. Then I forget to use it!
Everyone:  It's been a cooler 71 degree day and busy. We've had three long walks and several shorter. This morning I made several calls about painting and power washing the house later this Summer. I'm still considering several options on the brick repair. ( I've hesitated due to a bluebird building a nest in the window box. ).
I took newspapers to my son and my granddaughter said her competition went well over the weekend. They were ordering lunch from an Indian restaurant that she wanted. She gave Tony his bath yesterday, he never smells like a hound dog.
My old African violet that was smaller died so I had to plant it outside to give it a chance. I've had these two for years and the large one has buds. I think I'll just do something else rather than the violets by my foyer sidelight when the other one dies. Dirt and water are more work.
I stored all the daffodils and white Narcissus in the back garage and replace them with early Wildflowers in the foyer and on the den mantle.
The lamb figurines are replaced with geese and ducks with girls holding them.

More jeans went upstairs to the cedar closet and capris and shorts came down. laundry is finishing. My knee will hurt later but wine helps it now!

@hullie   I'm sorry you had a bad fall. I hope everything will heal soon. It happens to me so fast I have to keep reminding myself to slow down.
Bringing Summer clothes down the spiral staircase I had to be careful and hold on and wait until my foot was on each step. I used to run up and down them.
Take care and rest, sending flowers!

@AnikaBrodie  That bear is adorable! My son still has his Teddy bear in his closet on the shelf with a soldier boy and Pete the rabbit. He slept with them all.
Now Tony replaced them, he had a bath yesterday. HA!
My bumble bee bear is on my bed daily. And the other beds have bears. Love them! 🐻

@mousiegirl

Yep, the fall going up allowed me enough time to grab handrails as I was falling backwards, ended up twisted and bruised but falling going down I'm sure would of been worse. It is tiredness keeping me from lifting up my feet, I even stumble inside on a flat surface. Pup takes a lot out of you but I get so much love in return. I slept a lot today on the couch, feel really good now. Bijou was allowed to roam during my nap times and no accidents, he nestled with me on the couch for awhile then laid on a rug till I got up. Last night he had to go outside at three am, I was nervous as I had noticed big paw tracks on the beach just recently, little paw prints I don't get too worried about. Anyway he did both jobs fast and we went back to bed....I put him in a small crate next to me on bed until I'm sure he won't fall off high bed or have accidents. I went back to sleep right away but was awakened by wet licks all over my face and a rapidly wagging tail, I apparently didn't get the latch good and Bijou couldn't of been happier.💕 Glad you are starting to get some of your energy back.m
