And me too.  My family's big plans for my milestone birthday were completely erased in April and I too spent it alone and in tears for part of the day. 

Sometimes, life's curve balls just stink especially when you can't get what was to be a special moment back.

Happy Birthday!  I am sorry if it was not a very cheerful occasion for you!

I have one coming up soon.  DH and I always went out to dinner --- no going out this year.  Sort of makes me sad.  We don't do a lot and we always looked forward to things like this.  

I guess there is no point to fretting about things we can't change right now!
