During our quarantine we celebrated my hubbies retirment, 65th birthday and our anniversary, we have had two nice dinners out since June 15

I prefer to be alone on my birthday and with no fanfare or gifts.   It took some time for my SO to get that. I always took the day off work.   My perfect day is after exercising and walking with my dog going out alone for steak and eggs then spending the day reading and enjoying the sun.  I often bake a pound cake, cheese cake or chocolate cream pie for myself.  I always buy something special for myself also.

Happy birthday to you. When you are feeling better, you have a rain check to go out and eat the most obscene meal of calories and none of them will count! In fact I suggest a whole day of celebration! Then count your blessings.  🥳
