Re: Bird's Nest for October 2022

Happy Halloween To: ALLHeart

I just came in a little bit ago from raking our front patio and driveway. It took me a long time as I am not as speedy as I use to be. The leaves are all in my front yard waiting for the truck to come and pick them up. I know they will wait until the tree in the yard is bare. I think one more raking and it will done.

To think I use to do all of this at our house we owned for 25 years. We had a huge lot 75'x150'. plus the front boulevard. Boy I couldn't do that anymore. I am tuckered out. I went earlier and got gas. It's down to 3.24. I hope it keeps going down.

Time to take a rest now.

@possummink   I think about Freddie often Mary Kay Heart

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise

@possummink   Do you know the name of this Hawk, is it, if so, what kind?

Mousie,  It's a Snowy Owl.   Not sure where this was taken, but they have shown up as far south as Mid-Missouri, if not even further south than that.  I sure would love to see one in the wild.
