Mousie,   I love it.   What a cool owl.   It'd go with my collection of owls, perfectly.  I'm assuming that it's metal and I love the colors too.

That is perhaps the fanciest Owl I have ever seen.

Speaking of birds - the feeders were filled lat Saturday - not a bit of food in any of them as of last evening.

Hot one due today - 104 - do not like that but I do not seem to have a choice in the weather out here.

Have a good day everyone.

Re: Bird's Nest for August 2016

Hello all, it's been humid and hot again.  Supposed to get better as we get closer to the weekend, I hope so.

The bird of the day is the African Green Pigeon

Love this photo - reminds me of Grayson when he is curious about something

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise

Bernie,   A shy 'girlfriend' for Grayson, perhaps??   I thought this was such a pretty feather ball, instead of a furbaby.  Cat Very Happy

Re: Bird's Nest for August 2016

I think Grayson thinks I'm his woman.  I don't know what it is about me.  Every male animal that's ever lived with me gets 'mannish'.  Happened with my 2 dogs and now this crazy pigeon.  Maybe I cater to them too much when they first join the family and they don't respect me.  I don't know.  Grayson has access to outside pigeons (under supervision of course) and doesn't seem interested in any of them and I am quite sure some of them have to be female.
