Sunset this evening at Clearwater Beach, Florida. It was 86 here today when I drove to Publix. Way too hot for me. It's 71 right now at about 12:30 am. and at home in MO it's 33. I am flying home in about 10 days, hope some cool weather is still hanging on there.

@possummink I agree 86 is too hot. We are in Kissimmee and tried to shop. Didn't take long til I had had enough. Came home and watched pool games.

We have ave snow squalls back home so will take my chances with the heat. N

Hi Yock, When I came out of Publix yesterday, the heat from the parking lot kind of just reached up and 'slapped' you. It's supposed to be 24 tomorrow night at home in St. Louis County. One weather app said snow on Saturday and the Weather Channel said 70% chance of snow on Sunday. Hope the flowers survive it.

I fly home a week from this Saturday and some cool weather will be welcome along with some rain. It's so dry over here on the west coast of FL. I guess it's dry in most places here, though some places north of here get showers from the fronts that have been coming through.

I've been wearing my winter coat and hat when running errands this week. Yesterday we had sleet in the morning and the occasional snow squall in the afternoon :-)

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.

Betty, I am not hearing much from you these days other than I guess you did make it to Florida.

Those Scotties everyone would have to admit are the most beautiful critters there is. Use to think my Collie and Cocker Spaniel were gorgeous - and they were, but these Scotties not only are gorgeous they are heavenly dispositioned. Would love to have another but I am way too old these days.
