Hi Birdmomma. Hope you don't mind that I am also called Birdmomma here at home.......lol I feed birds andhave been feeding them all my life. I am 82 now...lol

They are the joy of my life.....lol...........I have so many here in NJ sometimes it gets overwhelming.

@MalteseMomma From one momma to another, hello I have a yard full of birds and quite a few squirrels that know me from generation to generation. I feed 365 days a year and it can feel like a job sometimes, lol.

I have a soft spot for the sparrow since they don't migrate anywhere.

Bernie, I'm glad I saw your note about this new thread. Thank you for our lovely October perch. It'll be summer like tomorrow, high about 92 and then on Thursday a high in the 70ies. Hope it's cool like that in OK as my daughter and I are driving down there on Thursday for a few days.

We celebrated my oldest granddaughter's 21st birthday tonight. I was over at my daughter's for a good part of the afternoon as I was on Saturday and Sunday. My granddaughter's dad and step mom took her and her husband to Branson, MO for the weekend so my daughter and I had the 2 little ones, and I went over to help her out with the two little ones.. Kiwi, the almost 2year old is full of energy and keeps us hopping. He's into everything especially if it's a cell phone, tv remote, anything with buttons to push along with our buttons to push.

The baby was 2 months old yesterday. My daughter will miss them when they go back to their home near Fort Sill, OK. We're following them down there as had been planned way back in August. His paternity leave came in about 3 weeks late, so they are still here instead of OK.
